How long is their cash going to last at the current rate of losses?

The full impact of the PC downturn has not yet been felt. The figures released are only up to end of June. The royalties are forward looking as they will be based on wholesale/distributor sales and not retail sales. The PC sales are still falling fast as tablets and smart phones take over. It won't be long before the revenue stream from PCs dries up completely. The cash burn should increase to quite a fast pace.

My guess is that the next six months to a year will be critical in DDD's survival.

Of course I would not want people to thinks its al that bad.I mean after all revenue has virtually fallen of a cliff and they have gone from a revenue profit of nearly 1 million dollars to a an operating loss of 900,00 dollars. These guys if they continue will start to lose more money than a Las Vegas slot dollar junkie. It's a bleeding, blinding, alarm bell ringing car crash!SELL!

Bonio
So you must be losing a lot more than £1800 on DDD that makes you much smarter than me.

fair enough zips - we will see what the future holds...i am currently up more than 75% on FBT so not complaining - some of us think there is some multi bagging to be done there over the next few years - but we will see

re:DDD - disappointing interims - no doubt about that - but i think there is still a profitable growth business here - i only ever dipped my toe in here (about 2% of my AIM portfolio) so if it goes belly up then so be it. (i dont think it will)

You mean after a decade of DDD and FBT having terrible businesses. These type of companies attract investors who are in love with the specific technology but have no idea about real investing and what makes a company successful. What has the point been in sticking with these companies when they have both achieved so little compared with other companies?

yawn...give it a rest, zips...rather tedious after more than a decade of the same stuff?

What about FBT. This a company with a market cap of £46m, a tiny turnover and a P/E ratio of -140. Yes that's MINUS 140!

kendonagasaki (aka kendoquim) - for the avoidance of doubt, i have multiplied my cash ninefold on BLNX, whilst your momentum trading/childish trolling strategy re:BLNX has been a decided failure.

DDD was an early stage pre revenue (pretty much) and pre profits tech company when zips started trolling this thread more than ten years ago! same goes for FBT

GEHE you really are a pathetic clown.!You bought into BLNX in high and have been ramping it to high heaven ever since over the last two years along with your pathetic sherry swilling stalwart Jim Jones aka digitalis your lord and master. BLNX was always over valued and its directors greedy, they still are. I was happy to buy into the car crash and sell with the greedy directors at 153. I bet you are only just even, yet you are bragging on the BLNX BB about how clever and savvy you are.It really is quite sad and BLNX are still a company no sane investor will trust,DDD are a bigger car crash and they will be lucky if the directors get a chance to get a new job in the new so called alliance. DDD it's over the carcass is being picked over for any last remaining patented rights, then the rest gets flushed down the toilet!GEHE if you are such a savvy investor and articulate, why did you not see that DDD is heading towards Armageddon?

There are a number of logical arguments concerning why BLNX and FBT are a dead loss long term.
