IFA 2013 this week and the latest 4K and OLED offerings make the minor 3D component cost look miniscule in comparison. No TV away from the bottom end budget specials would seriously consider not bundling 3D and customers are still interested.

I saw a broadcast on Friday evening that said that ticket sales for 3D films are expected to fall for the first time in 4 years. At the Venice film festival there are 72 films being shown and marketed. Only 2 are 3D making this year the lowest for years.

Peel Hunt are DDD's own brokers, so you can pretty much ignore anything they have to say. Their comments are the same as marketing.

Bearing in mind the share price was touching 40p 30 months ago when it was a loss - making speculative stock with a dodgy balance sheet it is bonkers that it is now trading at 8p, barely a fifth of that when: it has more than fulfilled it's early promise; it is a more mature company with many more irons in the fire and it has a healthy balance sheet.

Im a holder of PTCM there might be something to this like guys said you cannot get a quote for concha its phone only it moved on a 14k buy a few quid and tipsters now on it.

Agree about not switching on a personal laptop for literally many months (although the "work" one I do switch on daily). However, my tablet is on way more than my PC ever was and that's the issue. If you can crack the tablet market (and a key point in its' favour is the ability to hold the screen however you want to) then the prospects for users using the software are far greater than the prospects ever were for just pc/laptop users.

Been a long term holder and will play the "double or quit" game and buy some more when it gets any lower than this. I'm sure I got a few at 3p once. Maybe another chance will come around again.

I don't share any of the optimism over prospects for 3D phones, tablets and laptops. Laptops have been tried by DDD and failed miserably both times. Phones are probably too small to bother with. There have been 3D phones around in a number of South Eastern Asian countries for the last couple of years and they haven't caught on. Tablets are more possible, but I don't think that will take off partly due to the production costs at a time when tablet prices are plummeting.

Don't forget that some of DDD's woes are due to massive falls in PC sales and those PC sales also include laptops. Laptop sales are falling fast due to a switch to tablets. I have a number of PCs, laptops and a couple of tablets. I haven't booted up my PCs or laptops for about two months.

I still see no future for DDD

My target is still 3p or less.

Don't disagree with you Andrew and can't dispute Zipless's statement of lowest price for 4 years. I am a long term holder and will probably average down, but will depend on the trading statement which is due this month. Seems oversold based on the info so far.

Triple D is losing out due to the reduction in PC sales rather than loss of interest in 3D without glasses. HP have developed a glassless 3D system that could integrate with DDD's product; and work is going full steam ahead on adapting systems for 'phones, pads and laptops. So, IMHO, it is only a matter of time for DDD to pick back up again. I hold shares already, and will be averaging down when the new uptrend starts.

Hate to say it but looks like Zipless will be right with his price predictions! Almost certainly with the next stop 7p!!
Nobody interested in buying these even at such a low price.
