10/5/2013 18:14 | These boards are really just for entertainment and they don't disappoint. | zipless
10/5/2013 17:30 | It's ok Zipless, no need to justify yourself here, amongst other entertainment professionals :-D | dickiepugs
10/5/2013 15:39 | I am retired. I used to be a software developer (compilers, operating systems) and later the MD and owner of a software company in the City developing for Banks etc. | zipless
10/5/2013 15:31 | Have no problem with Zipless apart from boring us all - he does seem rather stupid in compared to the usual deramper on the other boards. | cyberdyme
10/5/2013 15:23 | Zip - do you have a job? | northwards
10/5/2013 15:20 | Zipless a tireless compainer against the scourge of 3D infections. | poombear
10/5/2013 15:05 | That would seem pretty unlikely. That sort of thing does happen, but not involving such a big fall in price. You have remember that the fall started and continued with quite big sells. It doesn't matter much anyway as I still expect this to go bust at some stage. Movements day to day do not his how much this has fallen. Changes in share price are not important. It is the death of 3D TV that matters. | zipless
10/5/2013 13:16 | Lol... I think you may be disappointed again old man zips... | geheimnis2
10/5/2013 13:14 | I haven't seen any facts discussed here. We already knew about the trading update. What I see is people posting links to 3D devices that have nothing to do with DDD. A small rise was to be expected. Shares don't fall in a straight line. If they did then the MMs would just be buying and end up with all the stock. They have to try and produce a rise in order to unload the stock they have bought. When that is done, you can expect further falls. | zipless
10/5/2013 13:12 | Should rise back to 20p next week | geheimnis2
10/5/2013 12:44 | Zipless: "rampers out in force"... ?? Mate you have been desperately spreading negative info on those stock so much so that even a mere RNS mentioning an AGM sent the shares to the stratosphere.. What's eating you, the fact the people are discussing and analysing facts rather than spreading negative mis information? Lets it be. You had your little fun. Run along now to another BB and do your thing there. | malhashemi
10/5/2013 12:28 | You forget his mate Quim as well. A rather apt name. | bonio10000
10/5/2013 12:26 | 7 Rises already today. Looks as though the only ones sucked in were those tha. t bought high and listened to zipless | dickiepugs
10/5/2013 12:18 | What overhang? It was never an overhang? It was directors frantically selling out and not adding 1m shares of exposure. DDD going bust etc. | bonio10000
10/5/2013 12:14 | looks like the overhang has cleared. | poombear
10/5/2013 11:58 | The MMs are doing well passing on the stock they have bought over the last few days. Once they have suckered in a few punters the so should continue down again. | zipless
10/5/2013 11:55 | Geh I'm not. | bonio10000
10/5/2013 11:53 | I don't think they would let the market know q1 shipments outside of a proper trading update. Over 30 million could easily mean 31 or 32 million. I would not read too much into it. | geheimnis2
10/5/2013 11:49 | Also depends on the mix. Weren't there little to no PC sales in Q1 2012? But they are higher value? So even if unit growth is muted, the blend might influence results? Plus there will be no mobile, not sure if that was in Q1 2012. Add in the fact nobody knows when the 30m was updated - it might be from early April for all we know, so is missing a month (assuming they might get monthly indications from Licensees). I'm sanguine until there is a definite answer. Too many variables to accurately comment. p.a. Forgot to add in Yazabam - bound to be massive. | bonio10000
10/5/2013 11:42 | Weel if they can give a FY view in early Feb, it seems logical that a Q1 figure would be available by early May. I also doubt they would round down anything in excess of 30.5m. | dvda
10/5/2013 11:31 | By way of reference - the trading update was 6 Feb. Over 30m is indistinct as well - it is a nice number. Maybe over 30m means 30.75m? That makes a decent difference to the growth percentage as well, i.e. 35% and not 15%. Not sure on a general page they going to put, shipped over 30.734m units. | bonio10000
10/5/2013 11:18 | How many share price rises today, zips? Time for you to quit trolling, pal. | geheimnis2
10/5/2013 11:15 | Depends what period the 30m relates to. Usually Licensees have 30 days minimum to report. It is only early May, so seems doubtful to me they got all the Q1 13 information reported already, collated it all and then rushed to post 30m on their website. I would be very surprised if that was an accurate full reporting for the whole of Q1 2013. | bonio10000
10/5/2013 11:13 | I see the rampers are out in force again. We see these rumours all the time. I am sure everyone can still remember all the nonsense about the Nintendo DS 3D and the visual rampers declaring that DDD chips would be inside. As we know DDD are in almost nothing except TVs. When the rampers dream up these rumours the share price does sometimes rise, but it then plummets when the rumours turn out to be false as usual. As I said above, the appearance of a new 3D device, does not indicate any involvement of DDD. In fact, if you look at the story so far, you can be pretty sure that DDD won't be involved as the device won't need DDD for its functionality. | zipless |
