Appointment of non-executive director

Dart Group PLC, the Leisure Travel and Distribution & Logistics group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard (Rick) Green as a non-executive director, with effect from the conclusion of the Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting on 6 September 2018.

Rick has extensive commercial experience in the travel industry gained from working in both the Airline & Tour Operating sectors. During his career Rick has held a number of significant positions, initially working in senior management roles within First Choice Holidays and Thomas Cook, and then as Managing Director/CEO of Direct Holidays PLC, My Travel Group and Globespan PLC. More recently Rick has operated as a senior consultant within the travel industry and has provided consultancy services and advice to the Directors of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays on commercial strategy projects since May 2010.

Rick will become a member of the Audit Committee with effect from the date of his appointment.

Mr Green was appointed as a director of The Globespan Group plc on 26 November 2007. The Globespan Group plc went into administration on 16 December 2009 and the administration is still ongoing. The level of preferential claims is estimated to be GBP0.6 million and there are not expected to be any dividends for preferential creditors or unsecured creditors.

Mr Green does not hold any ordinary shares in Dart Group PLC.
