18/7/2018 10:48 | @walbrock82 - 111.25/101.61=109.5% so the NAV increase in a falling market is 9.5% which is pretty impressive. Also, it's good to use proper English when writing an analysis as it's hard to take it seriously when the English isn't good. | apollocreed1

18/7/2018 08:26 | Walk Read your reference but did not understand all of it! 'Deliberately increasing property values'.. utter tosh. These are independent valuations. Property will dip at some point in the future like any commodity/share section but as long as the population rises in the world there will be a rise in value of property, due to supply/demand. One's property allocation like any section of one's investments anyway should be a percentage of your portfolio, not 'all in'. R. | retsius
18/7/2018 08:04 | One thing about Daejan Holdings investors should note is the net valuation gains grew investment property by 5%, while rental income rose by 1.8%. For more click | walbrock82
17/7/2018 19:09 | Always a solid performer. Long-term its a great company. | topvest
17/7/2018 17:03 | Good day all in all, hoping for some more interest tomorrow. The IC does not cover the stock and hence it remains well below the 'radar' of most investors. I believe it now sits at a 45% discount to NAV. American reduction of corporation tax was an unexpected windfall, and they have a very substantial US portfolio now. Must have value, R. | retsius
17/7/2018 12:20 | retsius fund managers never give a hoot when they buy or sell they still get paid | ntv
17/7/2018 12:17 | beginning to prove itself as a maybe a better option to hold rather BLAND and LAND certainly more potential growth because of the US arm happy to hold and wait i think at the moment but i do changed my mind fairly quickly if the market begins to drop to much | ntv
17/7/2018 08:21 | There has been some guy/s unloading these shares for 18months (millions)which has artificially depressed the stock. Most depressing for a holder. Hopefully this will end now as the stock rises. As I said in a previous blog let the share rise first if you want to offload. R. | retsius
17/7/2018 07:50 | NTV Yes, very 'steady as she goes results 'which is very reassuring as there are no Trading Statements throughout the year . With the added tax credit of £39.9m the NAV has risen to £111. Cash in bank has risen nicely. These must represent excellent value to any new investor. Very pleased, R. | retsius
17/7/2018 07:23 | nice set of results nett assets are £111 per share yield might not be that good but a 10% increase in nett assets makes up for it dividend is increased by 5%+ it will do me happy to buy on any real weakness | ntv
16/7/2018 22:25 | App Yes, I checked, seems the results are scheduled for18/07/18 according to Bloomberg. R. | retsius
16/7/2018 18:38 | Now Bloomberg's Earnings Calendar page says 18/07. I expect it's sometime this week if it wasn't last week. | apollocreed1
16/7/2018 18:14 | Results tomorrow. R. | retsius
15/7/2018 18:30 | Skyship think you shouldn't be too hard on theresa- it's hard enough being PM what with having to contend with the diverse opinions of your backbenchers without also having to inject insulin several times a day, suffer inevitable hypos, etc.... | mw8156
15/7/2018 10:52 | I think EJ is slandering the great Margaret Thatcher. | apollocreed1
14/7/2018 15:02 | EJ - agreed, other than the one thing about the ghastly woman - Theresa May only became PM 2yrs ago, so she's had ultra low rates throughout her hopefully limited tenure! | skyship
11/7/2018 18:11 | normally on a thursday from memory | ntv
11/7/2018 11:05 | How did you find the date of the results? On Bloomberg's Earnings Calendar it said results are out on 11 July but nothing was released today. | apollocreed1
11/7/2018 10:52 | nett assets were £103.28 at the last count so discount is currently around 44% yield is low but uk prices have slowed US side is about 25% but presuming that will increase along with prices though interest rate rises might have some affect | ntv
11/7/2018 10:46 | results out tomorrow? US market is booming at the moment | ntv
21/6/2018 09:25 | hang on in there because the BoE will have to cut interest rates before long to try and kick start the slowing economy come on Carney wake up!! | ntv
21/6/2018 08:44 | retsius Level 2 shows share prices with very small volumes at nearly every price so that is why end of day auction numbers can be vastly different from price just before closing ones and twos are often traded which gives you no idea which they want to move the price i taught my son to trade on these a number of years ago. he was very successful while at uni but had to give it up to concentrate on his course but at least it paid for his living expenses GNI also went bust and froze some of his assets and i think that put him off shame he didn't take it up full time he would have made a better trader than me!! sometimes i don't know how he did it struggling to get this right at the moment but only just getting back into it. may or may not trade this one in the future i will have to see how things pan out | ntv
20/6/2018 11:59 | If the guy/s don't sell a chunk at the close this share will rise. Think about it. Wait until it goes up £5:00 and then sell, simple and give us all peace! Really the analogy of a kindling fire comes to mind. R. | retsius |
