18/1/2010 09:34 | WARNING : ADVFN IS A TOOL OF THE STOCK MARKET. 99% OF POSTERS ARE DODGY.!! Do not chance your money on shares unless you are certain of the company's agenda . Dont make the same mistake as me . | buenos aires
15/1/2010 10:21 | BA - Frederick Forsyth just rang for you. He wants his books back as they are having an unhealthy effect on you as a reader. | andre
15/1/2010 08:07 | Get over it BA........... £3 why would they pay tat when they could easily have accumulated on the open market over a 6 mth period and well below you £3 figure Cybit need further backing and funding to probably get a shot at the Gov contracts and Francisco have provided just that. If you check some of the Directors Purchases they have some purchases also in the 54p range so not a huge profit for them. With a company of tis size I would have guesstimate that a profit of approx £6m would be needed for the market to give a fair value of £23m for CYH. In your opinion how (without funding) would this be achieved in the short / medium term. With the share price low, aquisitions would have diluted OUR holdings and further share issues to raise capital would have the same effect. I look forward to hearing how you hoped to achieve this ? I suggest lesons here are "if the price of a stock you hold falls sharply ask the question, would I invest in this company today....if the answer is yes then buy more.... repeat this if the stock falls further" | tehart
11/1/2010 18:13 | DIFFERENT WAYS OF USING TRACKING DEVICES. 1. Commercial vehicle efficiency ,and compliance. 2. Private vehicle route planning . 3. Surveillance , vehicle ,personnel, goods. 4. Remote image surveillance. 5. Device control Obviously any self respecting government would want as much information on their citizens as possible to enable realistic decisions to be made. The cost of all this surveillance would be too costly and too intrusive. The tracker gives you accurate information day ,or night ,with logs going back to the initial start. Since a tracking device is a useful tool in its own right ,most people would welcome its use ,and be prepared to pay for it. Now imagine a government having access to the logs of everyone ,they could then let the statisticians loose on the data. Apart from technical glitches from trackers ,the data would be 100% accurate. As an example ,recently Cybit was "given" the tracking contracts of Tesco and Asda. (by the way who gives away plum contracts for nothing? ) Anyone with access to the vehicle logs can easily predict where the food shopping market is heading . Its a double check on other figures obtained .All at the click of a button. But first you need to merge a few tracking cos MPS ,CYH ,TFC etc. The rest can be done under the table ,Stock Market style. | buenos aires
11/1/2010 00:41 | ??? Good luck but: Could you explain that? CM. | cheshiremoggie

10/1/2010 20:57 | Escaped with a small profit ... TL was LP ! They also post on LSE, and he admits as such. | pedr01
10/1/2010 20:43 | I wasn't aware of the RI, it was a while ago I looked...maybe I should have another look, thanks HP. | jordaggy
10/1/2010 20:36 | jord - LDP just had a large rights issue (hence the 7p price) so mountain of debt is no longer a problem. Core NAV of comapany is 8p but this ignores their P2 assets, which takes NAV to 14p. Few other points of real note but I am unable to share... DYOR. | horsepower
10/1/2010 16:57 | I looked at LDP a while back...they have a mountain of debt ! there 7p for a good reason ! | jordaggy
10/1/2010 09:59 | Intersting point FFP. There's a bunch of knockers on the Blinx threads also. Will this be taken out just at a point when a lot of the risk has been removed? | polythene
09/1/2010 22:17 | My money will mostly be going into large cap high dividend companies like VOD or UU. 10-20% will go on speculative stuff like TFC! (maybe Francisco partners will buy them as well?) etc. I will also try to keep an eye out for where Mr Horsman goes. From attending the AGMs I got the impression that he was driven to make a fortune for himself, something a lot bigger than the couple of million he may have made from Cybit. I would be very interested to see what job he gets next. Good Luck to all you (ex) holders of Cybit, maybe we will meet again, hopefully on just before a 10 bagger takes off ;-) CM. | cheshiremoggie
09/1/2010 21:11 | Makes you wonder who TL and dexter were employed by?? | ffp
09/1/2010 21:00 | Well my money has already gone to:- 45% LLOY - my 'safe bet'. 50% LDP - undervalued based on any valuation basis, and I am aware what the Institutions involved with the recent placing have as a price target! 5% MBT - my speculative punt! Would be interested in what everyone elso comes up with... Good luck guys. Its been a long 9 years with CYH and I'm very sorry to see it go. | horsepower
09/1/2010 19:41 | None of that made any sense on this planet BA - please try the 'WWII bomber found on moon' threads, you will find a warm welcome there. CM. | cheshiremoggie
09/1/2010 18:51 | I realised over the weekend what has taken place with Cybit and the small shareholders . Now everone knows that when a company ,any company finds trading tough ,and with no likely improvements to their sales ,they are usually left with no option ,but to make people redundant . Fair enough . In Cybits case ,it is the opposite ,things are looking rather rosy in the immediate and long term future . Now we all know how fickle some people are at the sight of a small profit to their share holdings. So any predator wanting to buy the co on the cheap would simply buy shares clandestine fashion and then make an audacious bid for the co ,probably in motion now . To prove my point look at the number of small shareholders that opposed the "scheme" ,at 75p. ( Even my girlfriend was relieved to get her investment money in Cybit ,let alone showing a profit) Her view of the Stock Market is worse than mine. So to look at it from Cybit's point of view ,why go to great lengths to assemble an "A Team" of telematic companies ,only to see some opportunist wrest it from your control ,courtesy of the small share holders and one or two two-faced institutions. Especially now that the CEO is leaving for whatever reason . So it's better to pre-empt the situation ,...enter the "scheme of arrangement" . The end result is the "unstable" small shareholders are made redundant from a company about to start achieving its huge potential ,and are replaced with a stable funded commited partner. | buenos aires |
