There are some good posts on the other site this morning.

What the company has announced today effectively amounts to the company receiving approximately £220K in H2 2019. Forgive me if I'm mistaken but that's very roughly half a month's cash burn is it not? And that's IF it's actually received. I'm really not sure that justifies the company being worth 5% more than it was yesterday. All in my opinion. ADYOR. Without prejudice.

I see it as a classic case of fake it till you make it. Just my opinion. Unfortunately, after many (MANY) years of repeated cash-calls my conclusion at least is that they're still faking it. All in my opinion. ADYOR. Without prejudice.

The problem is, if the company announces a significant order, a la TNEB (!) they will buy it.....because people buy what they WANT to hear. TNEB, as lt'ers know, was announced but ever so quietly shoved on to the back burner, before a PI pulled them up on it and demanded to know what had happened. Grudgingly it seems, the company then announced an update on it. The 100M pipeline that was being touted at every possible opportunity in recent years has cooled off too. Over recent years the company has announced orders with revenues to be received in future periods, however so frequent have these been that it has become pretty much impossible for the PI to get a handle on what has been delivered and what has fallen by the wayside. Well that's how I see it anyway. All in my opinion. ADYOR. Without prejudice.

Spot on realist, those who've been here for years have seen it all before. The newbies ignore your experience at their peril.

I posted this on the other CYAN thread only yesterday: realist195010 Jul '19 - 10:05 - 673 of 678 Edit 0 0 0 buywell2 - everything expressed is my own opinion......but an opinion built on watching this company since it's inception well over 15 years ago. I have seen every event unfold. The history of this company raising money from the market and creating vast dilution is well known. It consistently fails to deliver revenues from sales (or normal business) sufficient for it to remain a going concern without the need to return to the market on frequent occasions to fund its operations. I have predicted many, many RNS' here, accurately, over many years and I have also predicted, accurately the fall and rise of the share price, sometimes down to the tenth of a pence. My next prediction is that there will be further modest order news and I predict this will precede, flank or shadow a cash call. If there is significant 'order' news, I predict the funds not to have actually been received by the company but instead, as ever, 'anticipated' for future periods or years. You may be new here but the other, main, CYAN thread is more often in use. All in my own opinion. ADYOR. All without prejudice. Regards. ....................................... And today, there you have it. Another small order update, with funds due to be received in future periods. We are now in the phase of staggered order announcements. In my opinion, this is the beginning of the push to get the share price up ahead of another cash call. I know the company too well and have seen this pattern before. The order update the other day was followed by a number of 100K purchases, which moved the price up. Those orders were from the same person/source I imagine. The only question I have is HOW will the cash call be worded when they do finally spit it out. They've used nearly explanation in the past from: *needing to conduct increased R&D, *the need to be able to show the market suitable financial strength *general working capital *cash needed to actually execute existing orders (my personal favourite) I'm all ears! All in my opinion. ADYOR. All without prejudice, as ever.

Great to see a more significant RoW order being announced - about 5 weeks early by my fun prediction forecast ! Well done Bjorn and the team ! Interesting that this is for legacy technology which has been in place for about 8 years.

Hi Buywell,Another equally important piece of information is the (downwards) trend in gross cash burn trajectory (less stock build) which needs to be financed. Albeit too slowly, the BoD has slowed software development costs and cash burn has been reduced, whilst sales and revenue receipts increase - the key questions are if/when the two will crossover and are adequate measures in hand to finance working capital?Easy as! tightfist

12 July 2019 CyanConnode Holdings plc ("CyanConnode" or the "Company") €489,000 Follow-on Nordic Order CyanConnode Holdings plc (AIM: CYAN), a world leader in Narrowband Radio Frequency (RF) Smart Mesh Networks, is pleased to announce that it has received a follow-on Nordic order worth €489,000. The order, for legacy CyanConnode hardware and software, is from an existing Partner and the end customer is a Nordic Utility, who is expanding an existing smart metering deployment. The Company expects to recognise 50% of the revenues for this follow-on order in 2019 and 50% in 2020. The existing smart metering deployment has been delivering reliable communications between consumers and the utility's data collection centre for over eight years, thereby providing significant benefits, including improved information on energy consumption, simplified billing and enhanced customer service. Björn Lindblom, CyanConnode Chief Commercial Officer, commented: "I am pleased to announce this follow-on order for the expansion of an existing smart metering deployment in the Nordics. The order demonstrates our customer's confidence in CyanConnode's technology."

I think everyone has the 'record'. I'm not sure why you're repeating the RNS? The 'hurried buying' yesterday was probably one person trying to move the share price. And deep down you know what for and why!

This was an unexpected RNS from India in my view, as it was not in the "pipeline" slide on the presentation. The UKSmets2 contract was also not expected. Still fulfills the criteria of "commercial contract(s)" as per the RNS news fungame ! All a bit of fun. I remain confident that decent sized deals will be announced from India in the next few months. The recent Indian Budget seems to be tightening the slack in the current power distribution system and it appears Discoms are going to be performance managed pretty tightly. The emphasis on reducing loss from AT&C is a key driver and evidence of how CYAN has helped to achieve this in Indore has been shared with the Power Ministry as a case study. From the RNS the following sentence caught my eye...as it seems to allude to potentially a contract(s) from the RoW business and my gut feeling is that it could be from Asia. "... and we look forward to giving further updates on global sales of our innovative smart metering solutions as the year unfolds." What is also interesting is that on the back of these 2 tiny contracts announced yesterday, the share price improved by about 0.8p. Unusual scale given the small contracts and it appears to have triggered some hurried buying. This share price movement was interesting in itself.

My post 619 on 12 June 2019 at 0705 hrs - pretty prophetic ! If only all my expectations for Cyan come true..... "...While we are watching paint dry and for a bit of light relief, any guesses as to when a RNS with news of commercial contract(s) will arrive from RoW or India ? My guess - finger in the air !! India - Second week of Jul 2019 RoW - Third week of Aug 2019 Good luck all :)..."
