Thanks so much Larryparker...keep putting the word out...I am as well :)
I am sure if Damian covers it in his Channel, then we will garner more buying = an increase in SP, which is what we all want :)

I was speaking to a guy that has a YouTube stocks and Shares channel, ( buy hold sell with Damian), very good watch and a growing following, I mentioned Cyan to him before it exploded, now it really has got his attention and he assures me that he is going to put on his list to cover, He does a fair analysis, well worth a look.

I love shares that have been languishing a long time like CYAN. They have survived and will prosper. This reminds me of OXB and ARM

Don't overanalyse. A 42% rise will have skimmed off a big chunk of that demand. Pending further news, obvs....

Hi Bskiny1,

All my speculation here - so please don't take it as gospel. But I have seen these kinds of movements before....

We know the fund raise was heavily oversubscribed and I gather a 300-400% more demand that the CYAN were willing to part with (as it would dilute existing share holders a lot more, if more shares are issued).

So it is possible that some Funds/HNW Investors would have put in limit orders to buy upto/at a particular price. Traders who rode the momentum yesterday on the back of the news would have hoped that the momentum would continue but that failed to materialise (not surprising since we saw a 42.47% spike yesterday). These traders may have capitulated and sold with ready buyers waiting in the wings with the weekend coming up. Therefore, the share price more or less stayed where it opened with sells being readily absorbed by willing buyers.

So I would expect some consolidation around this price range with a gradual drift up as available stock dries up. Then the next spike will come when there is fresh commercial or other significant news.

I hope others contribute their thoughts, theories or experiences too...

Hi Multi, any theories on todays lack of share price movement. There appears twice the number of sells to buys but no movement all day....Good W/E all ..b

Fridays often tend to be slow days in the market with traders closing positions and taking profits, but still won't be surprised to see a smidgen of blue by the end of the day, as sells seem to be getting absorbed pretty comfortably so far...

What is interesting is that we have had about 125 trades so far today...which is a very welcome increase in the levels of trading activity. A proxy measure (as I see it) that CYAN has caught the eye of the PIs following yesterday's leaderboard top percentage gainer position and are sniffing around.

Also the Flag Counter (at the top of the thread) has recorded 905 visits from 136 individual visitors yesterday - an all time record so far. You can have a nosey (click on the top right corner of the Flag Counter) by looking at which countries BB are visiting this BB from....again as a proxy measure for interest ...

I don't think there is much risk at getting taken out at these levels given the low liquidity and also given the large stakes that the BoD and other significant holders have in CYAN.

CYAN may be the swan song to some careers and the retirement pots will need to be well filled before they let go I imagine !

Plenty in the tank for further upward movement share price wise in the months ahead...the 38p Hardman initial target may look very conservative in the next 12-18 months....here's hoping anyway ;)

RSI above 80 sell signal, would prefer consolidation at these prices, steady as she goes..

Don't get over-excited. Institutional money takes Fridays off, due to low liquidity.I'd be content to see a gradual rise from here as news comes in - though there remains the risk of a bid, IMO.

Good morning all :)

Good to see that CYAN made it to to the top of the Percentage Gainer Leaderboard with a 42.27% post-fundraise gain yesterday closing at circa 13.50p to buy !

IMHO this is a true multibagger stock given its applicability of its tech and products at different price points and suited for various geographies.

The climate change agenda will force a number of changes in the way we consume essential resources like gas, water and electricity and CYAN seem to be well placed to benefit from that through its vendor and device agnostic communication products. CYAN also appears to be communication spectrum agnostic and works with legacy communication tech as well. This offers retrofit prospects to boot.

We are in the "essential spend" category for Governments, Organisations and Utilities with the beady eye of regulatory targets and legal compliance forcing their arm.

CYAN is very significantly undervalued in terms of its market cap compared to its potential IMHO.

I have been in the markets for about 3 decades and not many such opportunities have presented themselves over the years. I have acted accordingly and taken a significant position by my standards, but each to his/her own and one needs to have a minimum 3-5 year investment horizon with the ability to withstand the peaks and troughs - no stock / share price goes up in a straight line. A lot of successful investing is about patience, discipline and a firm conviction in your own judgement though the market may disagree in the short term.

The role of luck is very severely underestimated in life IMHO - most success is put down to hard work, brilliance, intelligence etc but the role of simply being at the right place, at the right time and with the right resources is downplayed.

CYAN seems to be one of those lucky finds for me and one that I took a position about 5 years ago after it was on my radar for 10 years or so. It has been a frustrating period but I have kept adding to my position so now comfortably in profit.

Could be another interesting day....

Good luck all DYOR :)

I remember we used to have a good bit of banter on the CYAN board about 15 years ago.
Think it is falling into place at long last
