I've been here for 10 years by the look of it - hundreds of thousands of shares at one point consolidated to near extinction in 2017. Good luck, but don't hold your breath!

RE 1214 Hi SBP - delighted for you with the top up and I'm sure it will be a steal in the years to come. Liquidity is extra tight on L2...so I think MMs are really having to look for sellers at this time.

It's only about £1.8m over so many years and on weird payment terms, agreed, they'll do a placing soon enough.

The market response has been muted (so far) and I put that down to the poor sentiment and legacy of false dawns. I don't believe that we are being conned - I have done a decent amount of legwork re the company. The timing and circumstances of what has gone before is in my view, been outside CYAN control. However, those who have tracked the company over the years, probably notice a change is in the air. The quality and size of contracts, decent money up front, better communication in RNSs etc and we are gaining traction is some big markets in Thailand and India. So it could be an opportunity to build a bigger position before the herd comes stampeding in. Each to his own. Good luck :)

Hi Multi, I just got the rest of my top up - below 5p. Can't believe it, either the market REALLY doesn't get it, or we are being conned. I've put my money on what I think! Best regards SBP

Hi SMP, Good to see the market warming up - I don't think it is too late to add a few more, if someone has a 3-5 yr investment horizon. Of course, I am biased as I hold a decent whack of CYAN ;) Kind regards, Multi

only slightly disappointing that I only managed half of the top up I wanted on Friday. Have been holding here for around 5 years. Think the next 2 to 3 could start to see some real returns here - we could even multibag!!!! Best regards SBP

Won't be surprised to "gap up" this morning. Conservatively expecting about +1p to 1.25p at close on the back of this news and volumes of around 6-8m being traded. Let's see what happens...the market makes its own mind up. However, if the Twitter momentum trading crew arrive, then all bets are off !! Good luck all :)

Fantastic news !! Tremendous achievement by Anil Daulani and the team at CYAN ! Congratulations !! One would hope the market will now start the re-rate in earnest ! Interesting developments in the form of Hybrid RF Mesh + GPRS and payment by Capex + Opex. Resounding validation of technological superiority with the repeat orders Over the initial life cycle of this contract, my guess is the contract value would be around $5m. Therefore, this particular project alone is worth circa $1m a year in due course. CyanConnode Holdings PLC New Indian Order for 350,000 Omnimesh Modules 07/09/2020 7:00am UK Regulatory (RNS & others) RNS Number : 1516Y CyanConnode Holdings PLC 07 September 2020 ("CyanConnode" or the "Company") New Indian Order for 350,000 Omnimesh Modules CyanConnode Holdings plc (AIM: CYAN), a world leader in Narrowband Radio Frequency (RF) Smart Mesh Networks, is pleased to announce a new order for the Indian state-owned utility "Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd" ("MPWZ"), for 350,000 Omnimesh Modules, with the majority of payments secured against a Letter of Credit ("LoC"). The order has been placed by M.P. Smart Grid Private Limited, which is the Project Special Purpose Vehicle ("SPV") formed by India Power Corporation Ltd ("IPCL") and is for smart-metering communications in the towns of Ujjain, Dewas, Ratlam, Mhow and Khargone. MPWZ serves more than 3 million consumers. We have previously announced and deployed two orders for this utility, totalling 120,000. This latest order, which is the third order for MPWZ, will increase the total number of its Omnimesh enabled smart-meters to 470,000. Under the order, CyanConnode will supply Omnimesh RF Mesh and Cellular Communications Modules, Gateways, Head End Software ("HES") and associated services, together with an Annual Maintenance Contract ("AMC"). The AMC is for an initial period of five years, after which the AMC can be extended on an annual basis, subject to mutually agreeing terms and conditions. This is the first Indian order where the Omnimesh HES will be deployed to communicate with both RF Mesh and Cellular enabled smart-meters. Most of the order will be paid for under a CapEx model with the balance of the order being paid for under an OpEx model with Equated Monthly Instalments ("EMI"), over a five year period. The smart meters, which are being supplied by existing partners, will be deployed over thirty months, with initial deliveries commencing in Q3 2020. The value of orders currently being deployed by CyanConnode in India is approximately INR 1.8 billion and the Omnimesh Modules on order are set out in the table below. The majority of the revenue for these contracts is expected to be recognised over the next two years, with payments secured against LoCs. India - Omnimesh Modules On Order Project Ordered Delivered Balance ---------- -------- ---------- -------- JVVNL(1) 281,782 20,000 261,782 JVVNL(2) 149,089 20,000 129,089 Tangedco 142,069 15,000 127,069 MPWZ 350,000 0 350,000 ---------- -------- ---------- -------- Total 922,940 55,000 867,940 Anil Daulani, CyanConnode India CEO and MD, commented : "We are delighted to receive this large order, which will be our first order using a Hybrid, CapEx + OpEx, payment model. This is the third consecutive order from MPWZ, which demonstrates both our technological excellence as well as our ability to deliver projects efficiently. After seeing the benefits of Omnimesh enabled smart-meters at Indore city, MPWZ is now expanding the deployment to five other cities of the state. "With real time data flow from each smart-meter, we have proved that Omnimesh provides reliable and robust 24-7 communication. From the initial deployment of 120,000 Omnimesh enabled smart meters, MPWZ has benefitted from significant improvements and, b ased on the success of the Indore city deployment, we are very confident that we will secure further orders for Omnimesh." Raghav Kanoria, IPCL MD, commented : "I am pleased to be partnering with CyanConnode on this prestigious project. The CyanConnode Omnimesh technology has already been proven at the MPWZ Utility where they have seen considerable benefits from the meters deployed to date. I look forward to working together with CyanConnode on this project and providing further benefits both to the Utility and consumers of MPWZ. "IPCL, a Kanoria Foundation Company, is committed to increasing its footprint in OpEx based smart-metering projects and this partnership will complement each other for more wins." - Ends -

Speculation on the other board that Adani 700k tender may be what is being hinted at in terms of the large contract, as tender closing date is 14 Sep ? My hunch remains - I still think we are odds on favourites and the possible 350k smart meter contract from the 5 cities would be announced earlier. If we then go on to get the 700k contract in addition to whatever comes before, then I imagine the share price could just touch double figures. Probably I'm getting carried away, so DYOR !! Good luck all :)

More grist to the rumour mill... From 05 July 2020 - re the 5 towns close to Indore and the timeline appears to fit pretty closely... Https://www.freepressjournal.in/indore/indores-smart-meter-scheme-to-be-replicated-in-other-cities Older news from 19 Jan 2020 re Bangladesh Https://www.freepressjournal.in/indore/bangladesh-to-adopt-indore-model-on-smart-meters ....the language seems to be loose/non-specific, but tie in with what JC has been saying about opportunities in Bangladesh Possibly an interesting week or two in the offing :)

Based on the RNS and Research Note, I think it will be an Indian contract that will be announced next...possibly very soon. There is a mention of 5 towns/ cities in the RNS which appear to be close to Indore...and one could assume / hope / take a hint that this proximity to our Flagship project has some bearing on a possible expansion of the rollout. "...The utility now intends to add a further 350,000 units across 5 RAPDRP towns to this project due to the benefits being provided by Omnimesh. It is expected these units will be RF Mesh, and the tender is currently underway...." My gut feeling is that we may hear of a 350k meter contract around Indore within the next 10 days or so. Fingers crossed !!

On listening again,I stand corrected that the cash position is around £1.1m (JC presentation around 15m 15sec into talk). Nevertheless, market seems to be warming to the story after the initial sell off. +0.3p as of now. The last sentence from this excerpt from Arden (corporate) research note from today...could be why the market appears interested "...Importantly, since year end, the group has seen an acceleration of deployments with £1.3m of cash already received. Highlights include: 40,000 units ordered (and cash collected) from the INR 1bn project for JVVNL; commencement of projects in India and Thailand totalling 30,000 units; and a continuation of a project in Sweden, adding 34,000 units. In addition, management reports it has a large order pending agreement at an advanced stage..." Good luck all !

No, current cash position is £1.1m as stated by JC in there. And I take it that 'current' means at period end not as everyone would expect to mean as - at the date of the message (that's today for your benefit multi). So, probably a lot closer to the next placing, or rather, convertible loans to the benefit of powlett-jones. Anyway, looks like the market has seen thru the king of smoke and mirrors again.

15 month results for the period ended 31 March 2020 announced today. Revenues lower than expected (no surprise here). However, a number of positives to indicate a stronger future and revenues in the year to come. Current cash position around £1.3m (mentioned in John's presentation below) and monthly operating costs down to £245k. Very creditable that CYAN have not been back to raise funds in the market for almost 2 years now. 70k units paid for/shipped since end March 2020, if I heard/understood it correctly - so very decent progress notwithstanding the Covid pandemic. Hi multibagger,After being focussed elsewhere, I am updating on how things are progressing at CC. A few days ago you posted "From a revenue model perspective, we now also have an Opex model on offer, which negates the high upfront capex costs.....". .Sounds like a real potential breakthrough - can you please advise what mechanism this is and how it's being financed - was it included in the recent JC presentation? Many thanks, tightfist

Further problems for EESL (a public sector competitor to CYAN) ....who secured some "big" smart meter contracts, but execution of these multimillion meter contracts have been plagued with a number of historical and ongoing issues.
