New deal sounds like a government employment scheme. Prob some deal where they cannot lose money with low bar options far below the share price on the day they arrived. Let's see how they carve this up. Can't wait to see the rewards for failure :-)

Agreed.

Question is, how much dilution?

Company has pretty much already declared in a previous RNS that funds will be needed.

Further, looking at where the business is, it's target markets and the inherent uncertainties I don't think the next fundraising will be the last, either.

Apparently "John and Harry" will be on a different renumeration package a little later in the year.

Is this going to be another of their yr end staggered affairs, the likes of which they did before? I'm all ears. Lets see what the new deal looks like.

(Head in hands).

pitiful pump... hardly any protection here now before the expected fund raise.

No details provided (that I heard). Implied that there would be detail forthcoming shortly.

I would reckon based upon performance and delivery to date adjustment of -90% on the packages would be reasonable. Though my real view is still they should have been sacked years ago when it was very apparent they were not up to it and were trousering an awful lot of money for delivering share value destruction.

Did anyone here attend the AGM and is able to comment on the item on the slide on the Cyan website following the AGM about the new Executive contracts for John and Harry?

I didn't think there was any doubt what he said about cash (though I note others have misreported what was said). My attention is mainly on what was said about licences and SMETS2 rollout revenues. I do think they will need cash fairly soon, but there are various possible sources - and the assumption that a placing will be required is just a lazy conclusion, based more on history than the current position, IMO.I also think that the large shareholders are on "dilution watch", now that material revenue growth is finally a medium-term prospect.

Are you referring to JC's sleight of mouth on current cash?

It is orders in the pipeline that are not real orders that need watching for.

And watch also for reds under the bed...and the Russians interfering.......and the cracks on the pavement......and the bogeyman, obviously. As I recall it, whilst further raises were (correctly) not ruled out, there were plenty of clues that there was no short term need.

Watch for forward selling of any new placement shares on the spikes...

Yes. I remember one several years ago. A couple came on here ramping one liners, non stop all day. Placing came the next day.

Is there a history of pre-placing spikes with this company?

Yup. And now you've a slew of fresh holders who may soon be feeling the pinch imo.

Could well fall back as quickly as it rose. Of course, that may depend upon the level of their conviction and the depth of their research.

We'll see.

I'm sure a timely spike in the share price would be most welcome to any company looking to raise funds.

We shall see if that is CYAN's intention in due course.

I couldn't possibly comment further.
