Same old PowerPoints. Same old big jam tomorrow numbers. Same old no comment on further dilution. They can invest in cyan until the cows come home but so far those investments have been very misjudged. I would imagine their priority is to get their money back. In summary - same old.

Slide 8 from MSI Presentation on 25.03.2017:Upbeat and focussed presentation clearly setting out the stall and highlighting the skin in the game for Directors.

Interesting that the "last mile" opportunity was noted to be a key USP in the presentation and one that I had listed as an item of interest to any acquirer....

Current installation: 34,000 units = £1.5m
Rollout opportunity (short to medium term) with our existing customers : 6.2 million meters
Even if we get 10% of that = 620k meters

Apply a significant volume discount and you are still left with a very healthy revenue stream....
... and that is just the very tip of the iceberg and in one single country, albeit a massive one !!

2. CYAN focussing on a range of communication options (to suit various markets and legacy systems) to solve the "last mile" connectivity issue which is what any sensor networked system such as IoT relies on. And the list of sensors will proliferate exponentially and infiltrate our homes and businesses in the years to come, whether we like it / want it or not.

So far so good, but countries will surely start taxing the so far "free to air" sub Ghz spectrum before long - it will be too good an opportunity to miss. But, we should be entrenched enough to be able to pass on that cost / share the cost with our customers.

Subtle but strategically very important statement / shift in our business model IMHO....very interesting :)

Good luck all !

Simon gave the talk yesterday at the Master Investor show, unfortunately I missed it as it clashed with two others which I wanted to see. I did however spend some time at the Cyan stand later on in the day where I picked up a few interesting factoids. I will write up a few notes and post either today or tomorrow.

empty I agree
No one would buy at a slightly lower price just for the sake of it, and certainly not if they thought the company was going to go tit`s up.

Looking back a few weeks, I'm wondering if this might be more significant than it appeared at the time?http://www.investegate.co.uk/cyanconnode-holdings--cyan-/rns/new--5-4-million-purchase-order-in-bangladesh/201702090700083868W/A few weeks later they get approached by existing shareholders offering more money.......why at that time?Does anyone know what other deals this new partner is pitching for? And what scale?

the cyan bod have milked the market loosing the pi investments only to deliver fake news as the share price dehydrates, the pi is locked in, the pi that valued the company at a higher price had a choice to sell at a loss or read the nexst volume of the never ending story part two,as the present share price is a good entry level for new investors,or for the longterm holders to average down, with consolidation on the horizon along side my self other longtermers will wait for consollidation then sell as the share price rises ...... "then" buy when the share price tanks "catch the monkey"

the moral of the never ending story !
cyancannode will be taken over or sold below pi expectations, whilst the bod @ cyancannode will retain a percentage of thier shareholding in the t/o company for thier pension pots.

bellend i hope you prove me wrong

I am in here sub 0.2p so I am glad I am off the hook as s fulminater :-) I sit it out for a takeover for maybe 0.3p or bust. Whoever is complaining about their poorly timed purchases please stop it ;-)

If the success or failure of a business is not ultimately down to the bod who then is responsible and accountable? Maybe we can find a scape goat to blame for the pathetic performance of Cyan.

Anyway, it will all be ok. Dog and pony show tomorrow I think.

I've been shareholders in other companies where people turn up on bulletin boards fulminating about their poorly timed purchases and blaming the board .......or indeed anybody except the berk who claimed to have paid the wrong price for the shares. In a couple of cases, the shares have gone on to quintuple ......and the complainers mysteriously go quiet.;-)

This dog has been on the cusp of breakthroughs for years if the Powerpoihts and scripted BRRs were to be believed. Speaking of PowerPoints I expect they will be updated for the next dog and pony show. Maybe with mention of the recent successful shareholder dilution and a share price chart showing how great the cyan team have done since they arrived. They might have to flip the chart upside down for that one ;-)

My post on another thread...

The proof of the pudding as you say.....JC has clearly stated the intention to move away from hardware to software/communication being the thrust of the business model (read high margin, scalability, easy deployability, geographically agnostic, zero inventory, recurrent revenues and sticky customers with relatively cheaper ongoing software development costs v hardware capex costs).

So the ARM model from an IP point of view (to a degree) and even if we are a fraction as successful, then many of us would be financially made (if not already). Would be interesting to see if HIML and L&G have participated in the funding round ?

I agree that contract announcements with numbers attached will take on a new significance, as I would expect some upward share price movement unlike the "see-sawing SP" that we have seen so far. Very interesting times and I for one feel that we are on the cusp of significant breakthroughs.

Good luck all :)

Getting ready for the big move up, investors twigged this one, won't be long, could do a (HER) move, that one is 700%+ before any news of long term funding. Just hold these tiddlers and wait patiently for substantive returns.
