19/7/2018 11:04 | news overdue. if the current "proof-of-concept" project has gone well then they will certainly be looking to raise capital for the next phase. both of these may be denting the share price at the moment. problem is, the longer this carries on the lower the sp, meaning the lower the price of the fundraising, and the more dilutive it becomes. if the news is good it might be helpful to get it out first before setting the price of the fundraiser. | backmarker
14/7/2018 08:16 | interesting little company this. Looks like a share placing will be done soon - they are presenting at an 'investors' evening, which normally points towards this scenario. aimho dyor | eentweedrie
30/6/2018 12:28 | backmarker, if I recall correcly when oil dived to $40 and the thinking was it could even go to $25 the previous company couldn't attract the financial support needed anymore to carry on and bust they went. The asset still looks pretty decent imo, so I would say it's definitely commercial and in one of their presentations there is an interesting slide where they list some flow rate scenarios(low/med/hi Let's hope for some sort of progress news soon accompanies by a bounce in the share price ;-) | novicetrade68
28/6/2018 15:05 | Looking through the latest Annual Report on CZN's website I noticed that they are carrying losses of $32m. most of this will be in relation to the earlier bankrupt company which CZN acquired. if they do become profitable then this could become a useful item. it is also worth looking at the 21 Apr 2018 presentation. lots of info about the wells (most of which data I am unable to interpret) showing how they plan to extend them to increase gas flow. the one point of interest that I didn't find but would like to know: why did the previous company go bankrupt having spent over $30m ? | backmarker
27/6/2018 12:35 | there doesn't seem to be a lot of info available, and they don't seem to issue interim progress reports between milestones. I would expect next news to be some of: they have completed all drilling; they have connected to regional pipeline; they have negotiated a supply contract; the production level achieved. If it looks commercial then I expect they will drill more wells on existing acreage and possibly look for further deposits to exploit. I would expect further funding at this stage. I imagine the drop in share price reflects the fact that we are almost at end of Q2 and no news; boredom. | backmarker
18/6/2018 21:40 | Has anyone done any research on this company? What is the time frame from bringing on more wells? What is current spend against the £1m in the bank dec17?What income are they targeting? What are the margins? | jonnynixon
12/6/2018 17:04 | the price of natgas is up again to around $3, but a long way to go to get back to $3.50 nevertheless, oil price still looking bullish, so at worst one might hope that oil will drag up the gas price. | backmarker
12/6/2018 17:01 | It may be that, following the IPO, most of the shares are held by IIs, high net worth individuals and companies. most of these probably have direct access and are kept informed. until further funding is required, when PIs may become of interest, I should think it's heads down, complete the wells and get the contract. I believe they are funded for the current project ? so I am expecting little news shortterm other than: (1) project complete (2) contract signed. I see the current project as CZN providing proof of concept and proof of their ability to deliver. it's what they want to do next that should be interesting. for that they may possibly need PI investment. in which case it seems sensible for CZN to say nothing until the current project is secured, then start broadcasting from a position of success. and in the process lifting the share price to provide initial stakeholders with a paper profit. I have a small stake and am considering increasing it. | backmarker
06/6/2018 09:59 | If I remember correctly they did a presentation fairly recently and RGM even tauted their stake in CZN in their RNS today. That having said, I can only surmise that the absence of news atm is because of the gas contract(s) negotiations? Still hopeful there will be some decent news soon. | novicetrade68
05/6/2018 18:05 | Not to impressed with the PR for this company either. Im not expecting significantly regular updates, but when social media comms like twitter aren't active for two months, its a pretty dire sign. How much effort is less than 280 words? | jackdy1
05/6/2018 13:53 | It's a good question, I'm surprised myself how boring this share is. | novicetrade68
01/6/2018 08:27 | Where are all those dogs novicetrade68?? | jackdy1
11/5/2018 13:29 | I agree backmarker, I still think (hope) later this quarter everyone and their dog will be over this, the alluded gas contracts could be the trigger perhaps.. | novicetrade68
11/5/2018 12:43 | natgas prices up sharply. couldn't have come at a better time for CZN. here's hoping the rises in crude start to get reflected here, too. | backmarker
24/4/2018 09:25 | it's nice to see they are getting on with things. it's a pity that natgas prices in US have not lifted, despite the better showing of oil prices recently. | backmarker
09/4/2018 01:50 | That's one hell of an upside - albeit from the house broker. | scantrader
16/3/2018 12:47 | -- Gas currently being produced is sufficient to power wellhead pumping equipmentLong way to go then | supercity
16/3/2018 09:58 | unclear whether the decision to remove plugs means extra costs, and whether this in turn will mean they will need to raise additional funds. at least they seem to be moving things along briskly and the tone of the RNS sounds bullish ( - but then it would, wouldn't it ?) | backmarker
16/3/2018 07:32 | Seems like you also had good timing filipe with picking up a few of these shares as well..with todays' update it looks like the company is pretty much on track, gas sales still expected in Q2 and now with the removal of several plugs we could get there perhaps both faster and/or ending up with flow rates from the better case scenarios. | novicetrade68
09/3/2018 16:07 | Btw, the best bid/ask here is currently 9.5p v 10.3p and I see 10.25p was paid today....very close to the best ask. Mm's must feel strong on the share as it's not being given away. There are four mm's on each side of the bid/ask, each showing only 10k shrs (a total of 40k each side). Any significant buying will soon see this zip up at a fair rate of knots. f | fillipe
09/3/2018 15:45 | nt68 - yes, I'm in here and holding - since end-October....after they'd come back a bit, following their floatation 4 Oct. Am looking forward to their next news - Q2. At that point we'll be seeing many more folks taking an interest in Curzon. f | fillipe
26/2/2018 13:27 | I'm not sure, but you would almost think so given on page 4 they state '45,000 ACRES UP TO 1.0 TCF OF GAS IN PLACE' under ASSETS and on this page 12 they again refer these 45,000 acres and the 400 wells. Should have an update here soon, would be fantastic if the medium or high economic scenario's will play out, although even on very low production levels the free cashflow is $1.5m/annum. | novicetrade68
14/2/2018 15:38 | On P12 of the presentation it shows a possible exponential expansion to 400+ wells. Do they own the whole of the Rayonier Lease and the County Lease ? | backmarker
01/2/2018 23:00 | Presentation from today..a good point made on LSE that the reduction of corporation tax in the US is likely to add significantly to the bottom line here, with the rate reduced from 35% to 21%. MCAP is still below £8m and from the presentation you'd almost get the impression it's a dead cert that five wells will come online next quarter. | novicetrade68 |
