It's a tricky one bb, the l s e blinkx thread a few posts back has my general thoughts market wise, I made efforts to confirm this info with third parties, again not an easy job.

This week I tried contacting ADGO, left messages with PR company, broker and their offices in London - so far not single reply.

Thanks Shroder, yes but just how do we gauge the volume of suspect traffic with relevance to CROS or are they all tarred with the same brush. This shouldn't have the same effect on other segments of CROS's business model surely?

The major data exchanges were a lot slower to react when throttling back on suspect traffic, some of the restrictions are now only being implemented having a knock-on effect to smaller players.

Well this has certainly turned out to be a nightmare stock!!! Didn't realise we had that many holders, judging by the selling we can't have many left. Don't know when sentiment will turn favourable, probably when I've sold and lost a packet.

After giving it considerable thought this weekend i've concluded that the market is still very much developing. For every company creating an advertising product like CROS there's likely to be another that comes to feed the anti advertising conscience. We're all different in our needs and personally while i see the relevenace of advertising i don't like having it all over my web pages and phone.

It's too early in the process for me to commit to an investment here so i'll watch with interest.

Maybe i just don't understand it in sufficient depth and if i don't understand it i can't invest in it.

I cant see it. Surely it would also place the whole market for NFC as good as redundant, bearing in mind future of NFC and on foot shopping was bespoke discounts to your mobile as you passed a retailer, conditioned to your hobbies/interests/ likes/ dislikes etc

That won't work with adblocker will it? You cannot stop change! Storm in a tea cup?

edit- Have x3 for me BB2. Cheers!

Yes I've read Paul's blog but I'm still confident we will still see adverts, if not your cutting a revenue stream.

Sadly the whole sector looks vulnerable after the ADGO trading statement and also paul scotts small cap report hasn't helped. Don't know enough about the technicals, but if true, i could see ad blocking being a real revenue issue. I'm using adblock plus all the time.

Credibility is a real issue now for all these israeli and and chinese quoted co's.

Yep looked at them but didn't buy as i was holding these, they should have know at the last RNS they would fall short so a trust issue there now. Our cash should be put to use soon which might help the share price. From our last statement , we have strong visibility and will beat ebitda due to higher margin business although revenues will fall. Fingers crossed we won't see a similar RNS....

I hope not Woody. I think the sector as a whole is going through change but i'd like to think CROS will manage it better.

Just noticed a trade yesterday for 3.1 million at 60p. The only holders i know of are Unikmind and Legal and General who last had 4 million odd so an RNS might be forthcoming.

Hi saucepan, i know parts of the reimage business may not be to everyones liking but it is legal and can be removed easily.

Cros made a loss of 2.9 million after share based payments one off exceptional depreciation and amortisation and tax payments. The adjusted doesn't take account of these hence the two different figures (ebitda 5.5 million)

Hi folks

I have been looking at CROS this evening.

Stegrego is correct, ReImage is part of the Crosswire Group:

And indeed, from user reviews and additional Googling around, something is far from right. See, for example, the plethora of individual reviews here, making some very nasty assertions about the product and the Company:

(It is the individual user reviews that should be focussed upon, not the headline "marketing" reviews by CNET).

I have also looked at the accounts in the 8 September Interims. I am the first to admit that accounts are not my strongest suit and I have really struggled.

Can someone confirm whether CROS made a profit or a loss? For eps, the accounts quote:

Basic and diluted =(2.0)

Adjusted basic = 2.6

Adjusted diluted = 2.5

The Company also reports an 'Operating Loss' (2,029,000)

I have ended up very confused and feel there is a lot of smoke and mirrors going on.

While initially excited by CROS, looking at fundamental metrics in ShareScope and seeing some respected familiar names posting on the thread, it does not seem to be "smelling" right from the first bit of digging I have done.

I'd welcome any thoughts or clarifications on the above observations, as I have not fully dismissed CROS yet.

Not sure about how we would find out Stegrego but i'd imagine it would be small.
