I think they have buys to fill, the mark down to 28/31p without actually wanting to sell any shares at that price added to the lack any sells after yesterdays reveres candlestick was blatant MM manipulation of the order book.
Also they may well be aware of any director buys yesterday morning and was trying to get cheap stock to sell higher on any RNS.
all imho

Love to see the MM's getting caught short (literally) trying it on, attack them at this level.
Completion of reverse h&s to 40p looks short trem target.

lols are they reading the thread? They soon moved the bid up from red to blue once exposed.

i continue to buy at this price, rock bottom valuation in sector, great future of new product and recovery in the cyclical nature of the business to continue.
one mm left on 32p

Yes but the bid is 29p and they are willing to take 50k online at a premium and offer 30p? but will not even sell 2k online, paints a picture don't it?
They refused to fill any order over 2k at normal price via phone.
They (the mm's) look hopelessly short of stock to me and are playing games to try and scare people into selling by marking it down to 28p.
Come the expected rns about what i think were director buys yesterday the move could be very quick to the north in the coming days.

It's often been that way oldtown though it's positive to hold around the 30p mark.

I bought into this co thanks to GHF, looks like we divested around the same time, though I missed the absolute top. Great return over a short period, thanks for the suggestion GHF. Chiz

Courtesy to say I sold large proportion of my holding at 36.5p last Thursday as they'd doubled from 18p purchase in Nov 2013 and I felt shareprice slightly toppy & sensible to lock-in some meaningful profits at this juncture.

Results confirm business back on track and indicate a solid if unspectacular update IMHO.

WH Ireland comment that results slightly ahead of their own expectations and raise price target to 40p per snippet I've reproduced below,

"Interim results this morning from CSSG are marginally ahead of expectations, on just over adj. PBT £0.2m/1.24p FD EPS, +21% YoY on an adjusted basis. On our current FY2014E £0.4m adj. PBT forecast, this suggests that the business will make more than half its profits in the first half, which we view as a sensible but conservative assumption. Today's results are reported against fully comparable numbers, after FY2013A full year results, which benefited from FY effects following the acquisition in the previous year of CSS. Hence with some wins as well as renewals in H1, double digit earnings growth was based on 8% overall underlying revenue growth in the period. CSSG followed up the renewal ahead of the last results of its largest guarding contract by renewing a smaller but still meaningful cinema group on acceptable terms. As suggested by today's update, the guarding market remains competitive – but is a beneficiary of a diversified improvement in economic activity in general. CSSG's new technical products have the potential to generate further improved growth. Our new 40p target price (+60% versus 25p prior) sets the stock at a modest discount to the support services sector."

---

Adj EPS 2.07p pencilled in for Yr June 2014...so on prospective PER 15 for the current year which appears fair value BUT it's the 62% growth in earnings for 2015 to 3.36p and PER 9 which indicates good value moving forward.

Happy to run remainder but not expecting any fireworks unless Fastvein and VIPS weigh in with some material contracts.

All IMHO.

Regards,
GHF

oldtown probably using gross profit in his calcs?

Figures OK, the recent rally got ahead of itself a bit.
Think the fastvein and Vips stuff still have good potential going fwd.
Would be reassuring to see the new FD buy some now.
