Dividend per share 11.2p increased by 23%

The dividend represents approximately one third of the dividend expected to be paid in respect of the financial year ending 31 October 2017..... expected to be covered 2 times by earnings

At mid-June, forward sales for the 2017 year of GBP540.4m (2016: GBP520.8m), were 4% ahead of prior year. Forward sales for the full year 2017 including year to date completions at mid-June 2017 were 6% ahead of the same period last year.

Excellent !!

arja,

It was mentioned in the press that House building stocks are being marked down because of the expected lack of mortgage funds being released to house buyers. Much of the Government investment income is supplied by purchases of bonds by Foreign Banks and Investment Houses. The pundits believe this type of income will drop off because of uncertainty for the longevity of this hung Parliament.

It is a complex situation and house builders are one of the sectors expected to have a bumpy ride

not sure why building stocks down today because of hung parliament !

The stock market does not like uncertainty

When we get a new PM the share price might settle down

Well I guess this has to count as a dip so that's me back in again at 580p with an initial purchase.

While they could clearly go lower given the uncertainty, I'm focusing on the probabilities of "lower for longer" (again) interest rates and perhaps the increased chances of a softer brexit.

The best of my home-builders is CRST, of which I hold a number of home-builders.

I am assuming the weakness is pre-election nerves. I continue to hold.

not so sure but I would vote for anyone but the Tories and I speak as an ex Tory until about 6 years ago to my shame . The "nasty" party was a perfect description .

Quite confident in CRST

Good management and they are not entwined in the leasehold ground rent debacle

See the TW. thread -- post 47

Yielding 4.5%

Dividend covered 2.2

P/E ratio 9.8

Strong potential for increased dividend

Not be selling for a while

...unless Corbyn wins the election next month....

No advice intended
