Probably. If you assume things were OK for the 1st 6 months then it looks like trading has fallen off a cliff in the 2nd half. What's next year going to be like?

T S brought out early:

PBT guidance reduced to £170m - £190m. Previous consensus seems to have been £205m. Is that such a big fall?

Surely Berkeley could go for these, head offices are about 4 miles apart.Share HQ costs develop and build on one HQ makes perfect sense. Crest land bank worth a fortune.

Nobody makes buyouts of building companies in falling markets, they learned from the Taylow Woodrow disaster last time. Redrow wont be far behind these, cxxp houses is poor areas. Barratt went from from 12 quid to .90 in 2008 and things potentially worse this time, UK heading into hardcore brexit induced recession. CEO of Telford homes has just come out to say Brexit now hitting their business hard, shares down from 5 to 3.30 in a few months and over 10 per cent in last two days, whole property market screaming for a massive correction, 30 pc plus, that is two years overdue, just propped up by stupid help to sell scheme. Dump these and get clear, the yield on them is hysterical and an obvious warning. Should have known as soon as Woodford starting buying them they were doomed haha.

Unbelievable underperformance against the other Housebuilders redrow are up over 130 percent in 5 years these are lower than they were 5 years ago - it’s as if someone knows something that is not obvious to the ordinary shareholder - this clearly needs a change in management or a takeover as suggested!

i disagree. lot of a brexit uncertainty about. odds of deal rising pretty rapidly (look at sterling). if that gets sorted and we end up with free trade as we have now then people will start investing again and will give the economy a boost. not as though we are expensive in any event.

Monty, passed the Lidl development last week on the way to Esher,
had not realised it was so near the road, thought is it was nearer the Air Products
building.
