Creightons plc announces that Bernard Johnson, a director of the Company, has notified the Company that his PIP has disposed of 500,000 ordinary shares of 1p in the Company at an average price of 46.9p. The total combined beneficial holdings by Mr Johnson personally and by his SIPP are therefore 4,287,844 ordinary 1p shares, 6.89% of the total issued share capital of the Company. This transaction takes Mr Johnson's beneficial holding in the Company to below 7%.

Mr Johnson advised the Company that his SIPP was obliged to dispose of part of its holding in the Company to settle a LTA tax liability due to HMRC on its holding in the Company and that no other funds or investments were available to meet this obligation.
