11/5/2018 10:15 | I am hearing from Hellaby that sales are picking up I expect to see LFL for the last 7week's sales to be up circa 2-5% and gaining momentum. I put it to you that on any traditional measurement of value, the shares are grossly undervalued! (not inside info but my own research) aimho. | evil_doctor_facilier

11/5/2018 08:02 | Ha ha, that's all the company needs, a CEO who who knows now how not to breach Walmart's expenses! | elited10
11/5/2018 07:46 | Look a couple of experienced men, shame about the last paragraph there playful. However I think it most likely that 'lessons' have been learned. | optomistic
11/5/2018 07:39 | Jim McCarthy, Chairman of Crawshaw, said: "I am pleased to welcome Jim and Nick to Crawshaw. They both have clear commercial acumen and careers which are steeped in the industry. I am confident that their combined expertise, experience and outlook will help drive the Group forward." James (Jim) Russell Viggars, aged 50, left ASDA in 2015. His departure from ASDA was referenced in an article by The Grocer citing his dismissal for gross misconduct in connection with breaches of Walmart's expenses policies. The RNS gives our Chairman's phone number so will try and talk to him today and ask him the obvious question. | playful
11/5/2018 07:37 | Barnsley meat market was closed down Wednesday by the EHO because the water supply had failed, Crawshaws had to waste their hot meat products because of no washing facilities. 10/15 mins later the supply came back on and all were instructed they could start trading again. Very heavy handed by the female EHO but it lost the market a lot of the afternoon trade, hopefully Crawshaws will put a claim in for the loss. | optomistic
11/5/2018 00:36 | Still think the high street shops have some role for CRAW. Food to go at Bolton yesterday was impressive. | mcmather
09/5/2018 21:39 | Not sure opto; the posts were made on sunday and described visits from 12.30pm onwards when the shelves were getting bare (barnsley); Crystal Peaks ran out of kebabs. Plus it's fresh meat; ie not frozen so they would have needed to be careful re orders, due to being weather dependent. Leicester posted a video up during last week and their shelves were packed; I suspect all the others were the same. I'll take the positives re t/o these past 7 days at the factory shops appears to have pretty darn good. | mcmather
09/5/2018 20:10 | We certainly need some management. It was posted on here that one day over the bank holiday the Barnsley factory shop emptied the shelves, it appears that the reason for that was that only a small amount of stock was delivered to fill them! Likewise for the other factory shop mentioned and no doubt others would have been 'lightly' supplied. Reason...not enough workers in the prep factory. | optomistic
09/5/2018 19:28 | More tinkering on the website with removal of management photos and we currently have no FD. | playful
09/5/2018 11:23 | It's a long way to go to 40p before they can exercise their warrants then :-/ ...40p would be very welcome here. | optomistic
09/5/2018 11:01 | Morning opto. Correct re NC. Something is definitely afoot. Just not sure that the share price will see 40p in the next 12 months..... "Invest Co 1 Limited is to be granted warrants to subscribe for an additional 45,436,069 Ordinary Shares at 15.2p per Ordinary Share, to take a further 20.1% stake in the Group. The Warrants will be exercisable by Invest Co 1 Limited from the anniversary of the completion of the Initial Investment for a further 12 months (ie 26 April 2018), subject to the market closing price of Crawshaw being at least 40p per Ordinary Share for the 5 days immediately preceding exercise of the Warrants". | mcmather
09/5/2018 10:38 | Good morning mcmather, NC appears to be good with words but actions leave a lot to be desired! In the meantime there is a little more activity this morning with 235K buys. | optomistic
09/5/2018 10:14 | Interesting bit on NC's linkedin: "Developed a central manufacturing concept to facilitate new meat categories for the retail estate parallel to building new capability to expand into wholesale and catering supply routes" | mcmather
07/5/2018 11:07 | This Weekend FT of 5th May has their usual Small Cap Focus article. CRAW coverage gets a good portion of the whole coverage and a 2018 graph. The article mentions the new factory shops and the recent history at CRAW. It's somewhat ambivalent ...neither + nor (-). In any case, these mentions are usually of just factual matters, it's not a tips section. CRAW share this SCF part of the paper with Vertu and Safestyle. Please don't ask me for a link as this is from their paper edition. Thanks. f | fillipe
02/5/2018 15:26 | It was named as a promoted tweet you can see how it works below: | playful
02/5/2018 14:49 | I'll check the figures again later playful but across the shops they might end up with 300,000 views. Say 1/3rd are 'unique' viewers that would still be useful. How can you tell / did you determine it was a paid for tweet / advert? | mcmather |
