Same here as Optimistic
Went into West Brom last night (Would have been my local Bilston)and they got 3kg boneless loin of pork on special at £9.99
I bought 3
They also had 1kg Braising steak on at £4.99, I bought 3
Only went in for some sausage and bacon ended up spending over £120
The shelves were well stocked and the shop was heaving again
They even had 5kg potatoes at £1.99 and also started selling proper local bread
Why not sell the lot, get all your gear at one shop
What I am seeing is Crawshaws getting back to basics by offering great deals and at these prices no one in the area can beat them, not even Bilston market !
You can see why it looks like crawshaw is moving to the factory shops, they have learnt from their mistakes
My guess is that we will soon see a turn on share price

Surprised 2S dont just buy more here or the whole lot, they surely need the outlet what with all the returned out of date stuff they've been stuck with.

No fresh farm logo required, just a good old fashioned boot print and sawdust.

It will be 3 years next month since NC was appointed our CEO and having now taken £1,000,000 in remuneration it would be fair to say enough is enough and our remuneration committee having failed in their stewardship of shareholder funds should be replaced.

I think holders might want to buy so Dignity shares because in my opinion that's where this is going.

Always thought trade was the easy option to boost business not to mention the share price.

If they announced a contract win to supply all Bourne Leisure sites in Northern England the share price would probably double overnight.

NC is paid mega sausages to deliver a creative approach and some lateral thinking, so you would hope we see something soon.

"not much meat on decks?"

Meat being on the 'decks' is 2S's area of expertise, lol

Meat supplier to Wetherspoon's probed over food hygiene

Was in Bolton store earlier this week and, to be fair, the service was significantly improved on last week; speed of service / other staff helping out / etc.

It's not chuffing rocket science but the numbers in the store (food to go) attracted passers-by and the quick service then kept this cycle going.

It is not just the knowledge that shines through it’s also the fact he obviously enjoys his job and no doubt this comes across to the customers.

Sometimes it’s the simple things that build customer loyalty.

Those employees standing around gassing instead of serving customers would be better employed in brushing the sawdust and boot prints off the dropped chicken ready to re-stack the cooler, or is that taking work away from 2S. lol

Noticing the lack of action to try and correct this weak time in Crawshaws business, it looks like the BOD have lost all interest in the company.
I made my first investment in Crawshaws with high hopes of them becoming a major butchery outlet...that's failed it seems and it's become one of my most expensive fores in the market. If we could see some attempts to put things right it would make things more bearable but no action is just terrible.
