01/4/2017 14:16 | Good post mcmather, it has only been very recently their F/B promotion has looked anything like professional but thankfully they are hitting the ball now. Its not very hard but the insight it can give management and shareholders for that matter is very helpful. It is sad this was not done years ago. | playful
01/4/2017 11:43 | Southport store looks safe where it is; one or two comments re low footfall in that area but if the hotel is built there'll no doubt be more customers from the builders working there: "TK Maxx, Shoe Zone, Crawshaw’s Butchers and a newsagent and mobile phone shop would all be retained." 1 March 2017 - 9 March 2017 - | mcmather
31/3/2017 10:06 | We purchased the Bill Burton shop here and what's interesting is they have a good relationship with Givendale Farm where they source the shops Beef, but we haven't introduced this to other shops which is a little disappointing. You can read the background here. | playful
31/3/2017 09:51 | I am told that Pocklington was the last place in England that a witch was burnt at the stake...and they also have a good gliding club. | optomistic
31/3/2017 09:38 | 2,500-year-old settlement discovered in Pocklington is said to be 'of international significance.' It's worth highlighting that Pocklington is rapidly expanding so this should boost our shops trade significantly. | playful

30/3/2017 00:42 | No, since this has nothing to do with profit as it is not expected at this juncture. This rally reflects a possible turnaround in the sales and footfall. That is fairer. | rayg4
29/3/2017 18:12 | Suckers rally in my opinion as there is no sign of the co making a profit. I admit a quick 20% 16 to 20p is not to be sniffed at but be careful. It's easy to shout 'sucker's rally'. I have quoted figures to suggest there is a turnaround here. What's YOUR evidence? I say this based on the following. The company is still negative LFL The company can open as many stores as they like but if they are not profitable or cannot make a profit there is no point. Lucky sums this up as people investing short term on momentum and when that stops someone gets left holding the baby. I have no position but adding another 10% today to the 20% last week I would be banking some profit. I suppose if enough get sucked in it may go higher. Which I think was about fair tiger | castleford tiger
29/3/2017 12:00 | Then you should have said it. LOL | rayg4
