29/7/2016 07:55 | Looks like someone wanted out before reorganisation on 4th. DC | daicaprice
23/7/2016 16:25 | Thanks for that precis which is very interesting. I have held for quite some time(years) and often been tempted to sell up and find somewhere else to deposit my cash for a faster return. Thankfully I resisted and am already on a X3 return on for me a large holding, well into the millions. I look upon CRV as an unbelievable prospect for the next few years. I scare myself sometimes when I look at the potential which all the new investors have now made possible. I then remind myself that I have been in similar positions in the past and expectations can be very quickly dashed. My fingers are crossed that this will not be the case with CRV. Incidentally one of the most positive pointers purely on short term share price is that we have had virtually no selling since the share price has doubled. Most of the sells have been the short termers who jumped in after the last RNS. All trades are for minuscule %ages of the shares in issue. More than 90% of the shares are in firm hands, mostly hands which have a good idea of what is to come. | knitcraft
22/7/2016 16:27 | As DC said Karina, fantastic summary of the meeting. Many thanks | chumpster10126
22/7/2016 15:43 | Excellent summary K, thanks for posting mate. DC | daicaprice
22/7/2016 15:36 | LSE charlie129 Opinion: Strong Buy Price: 1.275 Thanks for your feed back of the meeting Karina. What makes you so positive? Their Leader?? The Team?? or the large number of good deals waiting to be done - Do you think that the deals they have had for some time justifies the Bullish enthusiasm My Pleasure Charlie Its a combination of known specifics, the general tone of the meeting and a "gut feeing" from what could be said and what couldn't be said. I was impressed with Mark on the whole and there is a real conviction in his desire to take CRV to levels we had not even dreamt of. 1 Up to $150m from a sole investor at 1.25, 11 times the current market cap and agreed when 1.25 was a huge premium. That in itself is enough for me, but there's so much more. 2 Talks with "several" other investors and the fact that the resolutions allow CRV to raise up to circa $650m. I very much get the impression that this is the plan. If we were then to trade at a multiple of assets you could find CRV with a Market Cap of a $billion or more. That would have sounded like a flight of fancy to me a few months/weeks ago.... 3 Mark stated that we are the only company he knows of that's not trading on a multiple of its cash/asset position, that should/will change in my view once we leave AIM and the traders behind. 4 CRV will start PR at long, long last and its a story I can see generating huge interest 5 Mr Emmerson from SI Capital was there, and as well as being a very nice chap, he and SI bring a whole new dimension to CRV. 6 Moving off AIM who have scuppered deals for both CRV and SI Capital in the past, to a "proper" market. 7 "Several high net worth individuals" took part in recent placings. They have chosen not to reveal their identities so far. 8 I believe we will see a couple more placings in the next week or two 9 The new investor will no doubt take a place on the board and one assumes that with the amount they can invest it will be a name known to the City. 10 Pressfit is far from dead in the water and should generate long term value 11 I feel that Mr To, our chief strategy officer may well prove pivotal, that's very much just my view, nothing from the meeting to back this up, but its worth taking a look at his history 12 Personnel are already in place in Angola, Argentina and South Africa to manage the proposed investments, that tells me we are very close to deals being announced. 13 If you take a look at SI Capitals July review they state "Incredible times to be investing in markets and I have no doubt the next few months will bring further volatility and opportunity" This was very much Marks take on the opportunities open to CRV to invest when others are running for cover. 14 Our directors do not take salaries and have not sold a single CRV share. There's probably more but I must stress this is all from my recollection and notes and is therefore my interpretation of events and not attributable to Mark. | karina
14/7/2016 15:14 | Scargs Posts: 172 Observation Opinion: Strong Buy Price: 1.45 I can confirm, after emailing SI Capital, that the intention is to mail the prospectus to Craven House Capital shareholders prior to the General Meeting which is being held this coming Wednesday 20/7. | karina
13/7/2016 08:28 | Thanks for explaining Karina, I had misunderstood. I'll go back to bed lol | kevc09
13/7/2016 08:16 | Hi Kev Its a 734/1 consolidation so you will end up with 118 shares, you will lose 388 of the current shares at 1.45p, about £5, which will be sold and sent to MIND charity. Or you could buy more and round up to a multiple of 734.....! That's my understanding anyway K | karina
13/7/2016 08:04 | Or have I completely misunderstood? | kevc09
13/7/2016 07:53 | Hi folks, slightly concerned here after reading posts on another forum. I only hold around 87000 shares so after consolidation I will have well below the 'minimum' number I've read of 734. What will happen? | kevc09
11/7/2016 17:18 | Best not to over promote. We dont want the rabble to find CRV. All it does is create spikes and troughs which purely distort the share price The inherrent quality and value in CRV will become more and more apparent as the weeks go by. | knitcraft
11/7/2016 11:57 | Nice big buy gone through there, 1.95m @ 1.45p. DC | daicaprice
11/7/2016 11:17 | Anyone else going to the meeting @ Cannon Street on 20th July. I know you are Karina. Anyone else?? No point promoting CRV on here. No one listens. LOL Exciting times though. | rusty9717
28/6/2016 16:19 | I do love the internet sometimes...... Now described as CRVs Chief Strategy Officer, Mr To, set up China Ventures back in 2000, thought I would take a look at them and one of the things they do is "We are currently seeking partners for a number of high profile business opportunities" There is a shopping list on their website including...... A 'one off' opportunity to acquire shareholdings in a company that owns the logging rights in one of the largest forests in West Africa with an estimated export value of over $2 billion. Survey and SGS verification and Certification available. Export markets established. Gold Deposit Mongolia An opportunity to acquire up to 100% of a highly prospective gold field for exploration. JORC report available proves high gold deposit. There are two mining and one exploration licenses. He is also on the board of a London based venture capital firm. Useful chap to have on board..... | karina
28/6/2016 14:57 | From people I have spoken to 030, its the big league and one you or I could not normally invest in. It gives CRV far greater credibility than being on AIM. The share consolidation and dollar listing opens up whole new investor markets to CRV. There is even going to be a prospectus..... yes that's right CRV are going on the PR offensive, fancy that ! Very exciting and profitable times ahead. | karina
28/6/2016 14:55 | LSE posts Note the comment below in the letter. It Is increasing the cap to £500k for director fees, then he says they have " no plans to recruit further directors" Then further down it states " the board and future directors" . They are obviously increasing the cap to fit in with new people hence the increase and comment about "attract high calibre of experienced directors". (iv) The New Articles increase the cap on the aggregate director fees from £150,000 to £500,000 per annum. The Board considers that such an increased cap will allow the Company the flexibility to attract and recruit a high calibre of experienced directors if the Board considers such recruitment to be in the Company's best interests. It should be noted however that, at present, the Board has no plans to recruit further Directors or to increase existing Directors' fees. (v) The New Articles set out in greater clarity the Company’s director indemnification provisions. The Board considers that, since the Company intends to substantially increase its market capitalisation in the short to medium term pursuant to the Offer for Subscription, it is important that the Board and future Directors have clarity that they will be indemnified to what the Board would consider to be a market standard. | karina
28/6/2016 13:42 | To stop us oiks being able to buy them and sell straight away I would imagine knit. A shame but I do understand that they will want to control who holds the shares. | karina
28/6/2016 13:36 | Interesting that the subscription for shares is not available to UK residents. Anyone any idea why not? | knitcraft

28/6/2016 10:50 | Thanks for the info re listing Karina.When I saw $ I assumed American listing. | knitcraft
28/6/2016 10:33 | We attracted a whole load of day traders yesterday knit, you can match the sells to the buys. One lost £1200 in 24 hours. I have not sold a share and the holders I know are the same despite being well ahead. The investor of up to $150m will be looking for a share price north of 2.5 to 3p in my opinion, that's what I am holding on for. Just one thing, its not going to be a US listing, its a regulated part of the LSE where you can list in sterling, dollars or euros. Its a huge step up from AIM, we are playing with the big boys now. Not one bit of press again other than reprinting the RNS, I cannot wait to see what happens when Spark and SI get to work. Also wondering where the meeting will be on the 20th as I would dearly like to attend. | karina
28/6/2016 10:08 | I see no logic to anyone selling CRV at the moment except for needing the cash or in for a quick punt. The potential here seems to be phenomenal and although I don't profess to fully understand the implications of recent announcements it looks as if the company is looking very undervalued. A US listing would not be on the agenda if there weren't major developments on the horizon. There are a lot of shares issued previously at 1.25p and yesterday was the first time that that the share price has been above that. Despite that none of the holders appeared to be willing to sell yesterday. I suspect the share price will be held around this level to get back the shares sold to punters yesterday. After that I see no reason why the upward trend will not continue. I have absolutely no idea of where the share price might rise to in the next 12 months but am happy to hold in the hope that it is many multiples of the current price. | knitcraft
28/6/2016 08:43 | Someone adding lumps whilst the MMs frighten some into selling, how often do we see this..... It was Evan and Sir David previously, wonder who this is? | karina
28/6/2016 08:43 | Cheers bozzy. I am not sure they will have to work again if this goes to their plan ! | karina |
