27/6/2016 18:08 | Congratulations again to holders. Especially anyone who bought at under 1p whilst the company was raising funds at a premium. Terrific job by CRV's management. Will definitely be taking note of their names, looking what they're involved with in future. | bozzy_s
27/6/2016 13:13 | PC - This isn't the CRV of old, buying companies for shares at 1.25 from distressed sellers who then sold immediately, interspersed with the odd excellent deal (Dublin hotel). I believe Mark built CRV solely for this end game which has always been in the planning, his mate Evan has been "in" for years. Ignoring GEM and their £30m, the nigh on £7m raised in the last month, the other interested parties Mark is speaking to and Desmonds money, we hear today that we now have one single investor looking to put in up to $150m, $150m on a current market cap of £19m or so.......... Those that looked to have paid a heavy premium coming in at 1.25 in the last month will have known the true state of play, you can bet your house on that. So CRV will have over £100m CASH to invest. Some have said its unfortunate timing with Brexit, I would disagree, this is a gift for CRV, give it a few days you could buy Barclays for that, and still have bus fare home...... IMHO, WTFDIK etc etc | karina
27/6/2016 12:53 | Rusty, I've followed this for years and for years shares have been issued at 1.25p regardless of the share price at the time. With a lot more money and dilution how does that equate to greater future success? I hope it does for shareholders so good luck. | patientcapital
27/6/2016 12:40 | Hi Derek Just the start I would say, lot of traders have come and gone today, which is to be expected, but this is still HUGE news for CRV. | karina

27/6/2016 08:30 | All done at a premium Patient Capital. Have a read of the recent RNS's. It is frustrating when people make such wild statements when it's there first posting! Expect the herd will be here soon. Karina, DC our time is coming. This is HUGE. Four years of patience rather than chasing the AIM Rainbow hopefully about to be handsomely rewarded. Regards RUsty | rusty9717

23/6/2016 17:14 | TullyCrow 1,103 postsCRVThere are about 6 - 10 or so what I would call long term holders here, and we have all been here years and years..and we are all in front I presume? We see the very occasional new poster arrive and we see them go in some cases days later. To a man we are all waiting for the "deal" that will quite literally pay us more than any building society account or ISA ever would. It has been a very long haul but surely we are in the final finishing strait? Surely with the amount of cash/credit we have at our disposal we are pitching in the big time. You can use any analogy you wish, but I simply don't believe that those who are investing vast sums into CRV aren't privy to certain facts that the general public don't know about.Evan Kalimtgis and Desmonds increased their holdings and were happy to pay 1.25p, others (God knows who..) have invested millions into CRV at 1.25p. Gem have given us a £30m line of credit and Mark Pajak stated:Craven House Chairman, Mark Pajak, explained, "This agreement provides Craven House with significant permanent capital to support future acquisitions. Having fresh capital available will speed the rate at which Craven House can continue to build value for shareholders over the long term. As with all previous issuances of new Ordinary shares, we do not envisage issuing new shares below 1.25 pence per share. But still he is in "advanced talks" for much more funding, what on earth is he working on one wonders?I don't understand how big business works in its entirety but one thing I do know about is human nature and money. I just don't see how its possible that you can talk someone into paying a 25% + premium for anything let alone shares in a company without giving them one hell of a reason to do so.Or am I wrong?MMs are keeping the spread nice and wide yet today you could sell at 0.96p and serious volume at a lower price and that was after the long termer (one week..) sold their 195121 shares. | karina
16/6/2016 16:53 | Fantastic effort by CRV, fundraising at 40% premium to current share price, and looks like probably >100% premium to average price over the past year. There aren't many like this on the market. And when a company doesn't bother announcing the placing premium/discount to share price, it's usually because it's an embarrassing discount! | bozzy_s
16/6/2016 07:59 | We should do DC, when/if CRV allow any press/interest. Invest at <1p when £millions of informed placing money has been made at 1.25p with tens of millions more to come? Its a once in a lifetime opportunity IMHO. | karina
16/6/2016 07:52 | It is a little baffling isn't it, surely we should leave 1p behind forever today. Well done you all. DC | daicaprice
16/6/2016 07:37 | With more to come. Some war chest being built @ 1.25p Some people just don't want free money. Can buy at .92! | rusty9717
16/6/2016 07:30 | Craven House Capital (AIM: CRV) announces that it has raised approximately £3.34 million in cash (before expenses), through a placing (the "Placing") of 266,828,899 new ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company ("Placing Shares") at a price of 1.25p per Placing Share ("Placing Price"). | karina
07/6/2016 15:29 | We have also to find out where the rest of the placing shares found a home.... And these forthcoming investments are in cold, hard cash, not shares to distressed sellers. Exciting times at CRV and we don't get to say that very often ! More RNSs to come soon I'd wager | karina |
