Karina1 653 postsRE: CRVAs with GEM they would need the share price over 1.25 to be in profit...... If I read this right there is up to £45m available here and up to £30m from GEM ?For a company with a current market cap of £5m, I can barely find the words...Assume we will see a share consolidation at some point?

Steve1848 202 postsRE: CRVAlso notable that the RNS specifies emerging market investors. Therefore this is separate to the American interest we have recently become aware of. Seems a lot of parties are queuing up to throw money at CRV.I assume that we will get further detail as soon as the resolutions pass at the meeting. Until then I'd expect a bit of a move up in the share price on this news. See if any potential buyers get a chance to read this overnight and get in tomorrow.

Looks like things could be about to start moving

Craven House Capital plc ("Craven House" or the "Company")

Notice of General Meeting

Craven House Capital (AIM:CRV) has today issued a circular (the "Circular") to shareholders in the Company ("Shareholders") containing a notice of a general meeting (the " General Meeting" or "GM").

The resolutions proposed at the GM are to increase the Company's authorised share capital and the authority to allot shares on a non-premptive basis.

The Company is currently in discussions with a number of prospective investors from emerging markets with regard to making a significant capital investment in the Company via a subscription for new ordinary shares. The terms of any capital investment are yet to be finalised and will be subject to the clearance of all applicable regulatory approvals both in the UK and overseas jurisdictions. It is the current intention of the board to effect the subscription through a placing of new Ordinary shares to the interested investors.

In order to effect this placing, the Company is seeking to enlarge its authorised share capital, to grant authority to the Directors to allot shares for cash and to disapply statutory pre-emption rights.

There can be no guarantee that any capital investment in the Company will be made.

A copy of the Circular can be found on the Company's website: www.Cravenhousecapital.com.

Its a percentage of Investing Sidekicks portfolio value, not of Craven House shares in issue.

I don't think so sadlyMet the limits at the time and investing sidekick reduced- Performance was driven mainly by my 34% holding in Craven House Capital (LSE:CRV), which was 16% up in the half year on good news that it has signed a deal to raise £30m in equity at a price of 1.25p per share. That is significant for a £6m market cap company. Excluding CRV my portfolio was up 3.6%, so still outerperformed.Trades after year end: I have sold roughly a third of my position in CRV this week, after the shares traded at roughly book value. I will look to exit the entire position at around 1.1p per share given the new deal in place. Selling at 0.65p was merely to control the size of the position, as I was no longer comfortable with such a huge holding.

However not that important either way.

A buy would have been @ .72 minimum at that time and probably at the full .75p for that amount.
