|Someone wanted out.
|Mr Burrows has been interviewed by The Business Post today, and believe it or not, CRV get a mention. I am off for a lie down.....
"I’m on the board, also, of Carlsberg in Denmark and Rentokil Initial in London, and I’ve also joined the board of Craven House Capital, a small investment bank.
The area of interest, and one of the reasons I accepted the invitation to get involved, is disadvantaged assets in disadvantaged places, to buy them cheap with the expectation that you’re going to make a lot of money out of them. That, in essence, is what Craven House is all about."|
|I've invested here since 2013. Got my original stake back by trimming my holding 3 times for decent profits & so I'm now effectively in for free, and quite happy to continue holding.|
|sorry chaps this company sounds too good to be true. Assets all over the place. all weird|
|You should see some blue after those figures, shame I'm loaded up elsewhere.
|A great find from an LSE poster, that's a $65m deal.|
Opinion: Strong Buy
Interesting...Today 10:04DESMOND INVESTMENTS LTD.

DESMOND TO CHANGE NAME TO DLC HOLDINGS
February 3, 2017 – Vancouver, British Columbia – Desmond Investments Ltd. (the “Company”;) (TSXV:
DLC) is pleased to announce that its board of directors has approved a change of the Company’s name to
“DLC Holdings Corp.”
The Company also announces that it has elected not to proceed with its previously announced acquisition
of A.P. Vos & Sons (Pty) Limited (“Vos”). The Company will continue to evaluate available options to
complete the acquisition of Vos, and will provide further updates as additional information is available.
In connection with the proposed acquisition, no funds were advanced to Vos or any of its related parties
and the Company did not assume any contingent liabilities or guarantees.
The Company has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange for the reinstatement of trading of
the Company’s common shares. Effective at the opening of the market on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017,
trading will resume under the name “DLC Holdings Corp.” and the ticker symbol “DLC”
I have a suspicion that with " The Company will continue to evaluate available options to
complete the acquisition of Vos, and will provide further updates as additional information is available"
Could that be CRV? We have the money and the same directors..|
|Back down over 10% on small sells, not held any since the consolidation but it's a baffling watch I must say.
|Amber Fortress holding up by around 81,000 shares $364,500 worth
If Platform is a new name of IBS then they have added around 16,000 shares
Vidacos have reduced by circa 78,800
And we have WB as new major investors, the 21st November placing?|
|Tick up on no trade showing.
|going up , moves very fast|
|Someone deliberately trashing it for the sake of a few grand.
|Mad share, how low can it go and that's on all resolutions passed. Good luck mate.
|Still here DC. No promotion by CRV, in fact the opposite down beat comments from MP to discourage PIs (IMHO). Yet we have "indirect" investment by the new CEO at 12.50 and so whilst the drop is obviously disappointing I am holding tight.|
|Any of you guys still here? Seems a mad drop from what I know of the Co. DM, txt or e-Mail if you don't want to comment publicly.
|good post Smithie !|
|What on earth happened here today? Only just spotted it.
|An LSE Poster -
I haven't posted for a while as there seems little point when there are now very few of us here, but I will put my view down and see if it gets any replies..
Scargs hits the nail on the head in his post, several have invested millions at $12.50 yet we don't see others following them in, that puzzles me..I blame the fact we are now priced in dollars as opposed to sub 1p, AIM punters like to own "millions" of shares as opposed to hundreds, I think some feel uncomfortable dealing in a foreign currency.
The situation regarding Panda and the court case not being reported in this country is quite frankly shameful..this could..be absolutely mega for CRV. I hear..there is an 8m euro break of contract clause which Panda will have to pay should we win. I hear.. we are back in court end of this month. I have no idea if we will win, but the signs i hear are good.
Results will be out by end of this month and I don't expect them to be fantastic, but as they are only until the end of May 2016 so much emphasis has to be on what the comments are, also post May 2016 much has happened. No doubt plenty of "jam tomorrow" statements. Our new Chairman however is no mug, so he will know what to say and do. There is no doubt in my mind that he has been brought in for a specific reason, but what is it? People of his credibility just don't join AIM companies without a very good reason.
Plenty of shareholders appear to have moved on and that's their choice, but i'm going to see this through. In my mind the balance of probabilities says there is a huge deal being made and Mr Burrows has been brought in to close it, I doubt very much if Mr Pajak was party to his appointment, I also think his days may well be numbered. We also have taken on large offices, I doubt they have rented all that space without having a plan to fill it with staff..Change of office was never notified officially, i thought they had to..
Our bank account is bulging at this time and if we are to believe yesterdays RNS there is more investment on it's way, I wish i knew what all this money was for, waste of time asking anyone connected with CRV as it's just a wall of silence, you don't even get the courtesy of a reply from anyone, they wont even say who sold us the Argentinian land for goodness sake..
Clearly they are all under instruction to ignore any shareholder questions.. I have no idea if I will still be here in months or years but I will see it through.
Good luck to us.|
|The new investor is currently over $1m down on paper, I would dearly love to see Mr Pajak and Mr Burrows presentation on investing in CRV.... it must be 'kin good !|
|Just needs a bit of PR or SI to promote CRV and $12.50 will be a distant memory, let alone $8.625.
For now promotion is clearly still not on the agenda, SI Capital haven't even tweeted the RNS which they do for their other companies.....
Our time will come and with Mr Burrows on board I favour it will be sooner rather than later.....|
|Cash placing at $12.50 and share price £8.50. !!
Confidence shown again for CRV. Placings always well ahead of share price
One day soon this little gem will attract some real interest and by then the share price will be well ahead of current values.|
