enigma2002 :.......

" why would I, ive no plans to invest here. "

Which begs the question :
Why on earth would you waste your time posting on here ?

Well , I can think of several obvious reasons , all of them leading me to believe that you are little better than those who you accuse .
At least that lot have left when shown the door !

the misselling is the crookery, not the insurance itself.

I dunno about the interest rate swap case specifically but in my own personal case for example they sold and charged me for an insurance product which the knew very well I wouldn't be covered by as a student.

that is fraud.

Some people are happy to have insurance for their cards etc.
It's not all crookery

thrope has emigna2002 to impersonate me with - the M and the N are juxtaposed. the sad old goat has been stalking me for the past year ever since I pointed out on XEL that it was a chavvish untermensch..... threatens me with court action every few months, rest of the time its just the usual guff one expects from chav trash. I find it amusing, hence why I don't filter it.

yes, well, anything the banks support is immediately suspect..... lets think what else they supported.... PPI, sub prime mortgages, being given taxpayer money to pay their bonuses.

talk about a poisoned chalice.

The Banks are supporting them.
They expect a lot of their customers will support them too.

enigma aka enema is an unfortunate basket case, keen on " bestiality" and assaults on third parties with a frying pan.

It seems his brain has been addled by syphilis, probably of the heredity type.

For some reason he haunts the freebb despite having zero interest in investment.

sad

Banks and card issuers face £1.3bn CPP compensation bill

CPP is sending out letters to seven million customers

Seven million people could be in line for hundreds of pounds in compensation for being mis-sold credit card and identity theft protection.

CPP didn't seem to be complaining when they were being sent all this illicit business from the fraudsters at the big banks. they share responsibility.

when I was a student nationwide sold me PPI with these clowns even though I would never have been covered as I wasn't in full time employment..... did they write to me explaining and refusing my money? did they hell as like.... I had to demand it years later.

wouldn't touch em with a barge pole. crooks.

I don't buy shares in companies that victimise innocent people to make a quick buck. no one should.

It seems to me as if everything has been kitchen sinked in the Half year , and that Deloitte are comfortable with their finding .
The huge customer base here should provide a solid recovery foundation , but I wonder if a new start under the wing of some respected institution would provide a better opportunity for everybody . Perhaps a suitor will arrive , but
from this point at least I expect volatility here to subside .

the poor creature thrives on attention, its all it has left in life - spending all day every day being a crass low life chav on the interwebz trying to get a rise out of its betters.

it promised me court papers in the post last year, im still waiting...... if it has any sense it wouldn't want to reveal its identity like that though :-)

Wrong, MAT.
In a previous action, about six posters were warned, after a similar High Court Order. That was sustained libel over quite a period of time.

MAT- well, you are wrong, 'dearie'. I know exactly what happened in the Smith case. That is different.

You can only slander an avatar. In the case of a named Company, it is libel.
The Company got a court order from the High Court which compelled ADVFN to provide the name and address of the avatar concerned and all avatars that this person had used since he signed up in 2004..
Discussions are on going with the individual to pay costs running at £17k and a donation to charity
Failing agreement high court action for libel will follow

ERM
READ THE WORDS DEARIE

" investors bulletin board"
" slander"

What has the named public entity got to do with it.
Why do you ALWAYS obfuscate, ffs, read the judgement.

So someone has issued a writ , jaysus Private Eye get one daily and 99% of them fail.
