nw99: Momentum investor tipped it hence big rise
hmt: All the info is out there as hsharon has pointed out, many fingers in many overseas expanding markets, legacy issues well and truly behind them,as well as breaking into Uk markets with recent acquisition, turnover creeping up year by year, not quite on the radar of value investors yet! But any good news on expanding turnover and profits will move this northwards!
mclellan: Linslader- re "karmastuartra 12 Sep'13 - 10:00 - 3080 of 3084 0 0 looks like mac is sitting on another hefty loss" Not at all. karmastuartra is not exactly a truthful poster. As a late investor, for a short time, in CEY, I wasn't sitting on a loss there either...but I shouldn't let facts interfere with the rubbish from posters like karmastuartra and MAT and all his avatars. I don't hold here just now.
miss ann thrope: ERM READ THE WORDS DEARIE " investors bulletin board" " slander" What has the named public entity got to do with it. Why do you ALWAYS obfuscate, ffs, read the judgement. So someone has issued a writ , jaysus Private Eye get one daily and 99% of them fail.
emigna2002: The High Court has ruled that defamation on internet bulletin boards is akin to slander rather than libel. Mr Justice Eady hearing a case regarding posts on an investors bulletin board (or forum) has said that such comments are not to be taken in the same context as a formal newspaper (etc) article and are more like slander due to the casual or conversational nature of them.
warwick69: Lookw like we are All trying to catch a falling knife Depends how much pain you can stomach Will be lots of new long term investors caught by the hype and subsequent fall But that does not mean now is not a great time to get in as there must hav been more to this than just a bear squeeze? Just an observation guys
petersmith6: when i hear rumors on bb i take them with pinch of salt..same with brokers...ok..bit more salt.. but when i hear the same rumors from corprate bankers ..i start to listen..when some of the santander and cpp higerarchey are seen chatting over coffee i start to pay attention. im hearing santandaer being mention by the sort if investors who play with billions so i think its worth a dable.
tpinvest: Does today's moves break some kind of record???? Can't be often, if at all, a share features as the biggest percentage riser in the day and then plunges to become the biggest percentage faller. This as been an accident waiting to happen for quite few days. I pity the investors who are not sitting at the screen all day who will have a nasty shock when they get home from work!!! Assuming of course it doesn't rise to the top of the risers board again!!!
petersmith6: ive been told it they were made by ek are one of his get togethers so i cant post it. there have been a few occations when the question of whos running the stock marked has been raised..the mm's..the large investors..the pi's or the shorters. to day the mm's seam to be making there influences clear.
moochy: I can't understate how happy I am that CPP went from 300p to 3p. They got what they deserved. So happy I called it right when I shorted at 300P. Made some interesting money here. Those of you on here probably don't know me. I rarely post here on ADVFN. I am writing here again because CPP's share price has obviously bottomed out. I tried warning investors, but some took no notice. those who did congratulations! You'll be sitting on interesting gains! Please refer to my previous CPP posts if in doubt. GLA
