It is a tragedy indeed. The sheer folly of appointing a ceo with zero knowledge of the business who appoints a senior director with an over blown sense of ability. Both 'empty vessels' A reshuffling and retitling of operational management many of whom couldn't negotiate diddly. 10,000 employees put at risk then how many holding on now? A BOD's who demonstrate since that they are devoid of ideas, leadership, entrepreneurship and ability. A crying shame. RIP Countrywide.

"Countrywide have closed 3 of their remaining 5 ‘Watson Bull & Porter’ branded branches. Happened last week. 5 years ago there were 9, now only 2, and they look uncertain. Such a shame for the staff - they were failed from the top down.
closing loads of branches on the quiet it seems.....

"we can confirm that we are not closing all of our King & Chasemore branches". 3 gone in Brighton someone reckons.

Equity worthless

They can ask but they won't get. There's a little matter of GDPR!

Someone should take over this company and kick this incompetent management out of this company immediately. It's amazing to see there is no response from the management after collapse of the share price to this level.

What will happen when the share price goes to zero? What is the next stage for the business, can they do a CVA say or will it be administration and sale of Hamptons etc say?

Well this donkey was worth approx. £750m when it floated in 2013, and it's market cap (c. £71m) is now worth only fractionally more than double what they paid for LSH (£34m) in the year they floated.

Way to go, a master class in destroying value.

More branch closures today .So desperate for money they are selling branches by way of sale and leaseback in poor market conditions.
Making very little inroads into reducig debt The banks can have no confidence in the BODS neither can the staff. This could all unravel very soon

Down 9% today. Also some fairly big sell orders from people who obviously agree with Porsche that the end is near.

I have noticed a load of 'for sale" and "sold" signs round my way... I wonder if a lot of transactions were delayed for brexit, but now they're coming onto the market.

...going going...almost gone. Just waiting for the news theyve collapsed, UK secondary property market knackered thanks to sxxtshow brexit and online agents for most stuff under 3 or 4 hundred k will be the norm. Just a crumbling business model outside of London.

Only until the last of the 'raise' runs out. At that point Surveyors and commercial can't produce enough revenue to keep it above ground. If this was a boxing match, it would have been stopped we'll before now.
