Morning all,

My advice is not to agonise over daily movements and stress over why it has not gone up 0.00025% today. It will rise in time. I am relatively sure. Great balance sheet and a much more sensible policy for contracts. The government are going to throw the money at the wall and COST will get is bit.

2023 - 150p. As they say up North (and in adverts) "That'll do".

Possibly not, but no doubt they did at one time and maybe even down a mine from the age if 14.....all pre health and safety legislation also. You have it good in comparison.

'(a) an EPS target (relating to two thirds of the Awards) of 27.9p (for 15% vesting) and 32.4p (for 100% vesting), with vesting on a straight-line basis between the two; and'

imastu - you're saying they have to generate eps of 32.4p over the next 3 years for directors to get the payout?

You old pensioner farts do not have to get up at 5.55pm and get ready to go and work in the construction industry.

Hopefully the catalyst this needs. Looks even more undervalued at this price with upside in UK economy.

Free money and treated as such, they have no real commitment to these businesses, they're just suits on salaries and perks meeting low ball targets for their next free feed from the trough.

Not sure it can get any slower...

See a couple of little directors' options and awards being sneaked out today.

First one is the CEO getting an award at nil cost of just over 20k shares. And he has sold just under 10k of them to meet the tax and NI due. So he couldn't afford to cough up around £6,000 from his earned income to meet that liability and hold on to all of the shares. Not great in terms of commitment, frankly - but who knows, maybe he has a lot of outgoings... At least he held on to the net award.

Second one is him and the CFO getting rather more as part of the LTI scheme - but they won't get them for 5 years. Targets etc as per the RNS and discussed on here back in December. The EPS targets being cumulative for the 3 year period not annual (I got a little over-excited back in December thinking they were annual...) Broadly they are consistent, if achieved, with the numbers in the header. Which is fine by me - should be good enough for 200p (maybe even as high as a dizzy 204 skinny...) in a couple of years, imho.

I added £10k just before close of play today. I think the slow drive upwards is underway. That takes me to £18k on COST.

First share price target to break 68p resistance and then 85p. Once we break 85p levels then gap to be filled to pre covid levels where share price was around 200p plus.

As I warned ,many nations now have groups who want out.. Seems the French are one of them.

ham - I said on the KIE thread that if I was wrong, I would be losing nothing, and gaining well enough from being invested here instead (and I am) - not to mention avoiding the worry about being invested in a heavily indebted business. And if I was right, and KIE turns out to be a crock, I would not be losing large amounts of money.

I preferred the lower risk:reward profile of this, but that's just me - I also said they were not mutually exclusive, it's not one or the other, it can be both. And I said that on here as well.

For me, it's not both until I know the true picture on KIE. Which we will get in 2 weeks.

I don't know why that is so difficult to understand? Or why you need to characterise it as 'needing to be right'?

Some people can't take if if they called it wrong, their need to be right can blindside their investments and opportunities.

Bought some ODX at 88p today. Time will tell.
But if the gov are giving 2x covid tests per person per week and ODX on the preferred supplier list, ODX hopefully going up. ODX say they can provide 2 million per week by next month.

The next phase is the value bigger caps to recover, so those lumbering banks, utilities, etc will rise, they usually last to the recovery party.

Bought 4 total punts yesterday, AA, Aston Martin, Eddie Stobard and Lamprell. My riskiest yet, but only a smallish wack on each.
