17/2/2021 09:44 | Asleep at the wheel... No numbers, but in line - no upside but no downside. Bloody Welsh... We'll see in 3 weeks. 1 of the 2 uncertainties (and for me the dodgier 1 of the 2) removed at least - which should help. Somebody paying over the odds at over 60p for 60k (which is only £36k when all said and done - hardly moving mountains) - but still very quiet. | imastu pidgitaswell
16/2/2021 09:13 | Dreadful people selling at 58.9. Disgusting and selfish... 😜 Just noticed - results in 3 weeks - Tuesday 9th March | imastu pidgitaswell

15/2/2021 11:42 | Sounds to me the share price have been rigged | maxplus2
15/2/2021 10:32 | If you want to see the buy and sell walls without level 2 you can use bollinger bands indicator on tradingview that gives you a similar idea, hope that helps someone | thags
15/2/2021 09:52 | Looks more like a limit on the sell price - 58p and above - rather than a time limit. Seen it again today - a move above 58, and immediately the sells appear and stomp it back down again. I have this vision of someone (an intern?) whose job is to put them on as and when the price is 'right'. Be good if they fell asleep... It will change - we just don't know when. | imastu pidgitaswell
14/2/2021 21:22 | Agree. If there is a seller maybe need a sub 50p plunge big volume and then move on. | gregpeck7
14/2/2021 18:11 | Everyone has their own reasons for selling - in my case I'm just cynical and expected a pullback from 62 having seen it happen earlier. I could have been wrong. I didn't sell that many, some 25% of the total holding, with it having doubled from 31p. And because it came back somewhat, I have been buying them back again, and continuing to trade some between 55 and 60 - but the swings are losing amplitude and with the spread and the machinations it's becoming a pain. But still worthwhile - made a few quid compared with doing nothing. The results won't be good - but they're the past. The 2 contract balls-ups and the lockdown impact will show some nasty numbers; they already have done in the half year numbers. And way more important is the cash position and forecast - which is very positive. It's all about 2021 - which is still going to be impacted by the lockdown and residual effects of the pandemic - but more importantly 2022 and beyond. Per the header (which I can update when we see the numbers and outlook). | imastu pidgitaswell
12/2/2021 19:12 | But if the results are going to be good then why sell? Maybe it could be that someone is building a position...get me as many as possible under 60p as possible. I dont have level 2, and I'm not sure that would necessarily provide the answers, but that could be another perspective. Either way if there are buyers there must be sellers and vice versa. | pinemartin9
12/2/2021 19:06 | Very strange that my buy us not showing up at all | maxplus2
12/2/2021 13:30 | Probably a lot of overhead supply feeding into this still. These funds are always idiots , buying at the top and selling out at the bottom. These are never great businesses, low margin and prone to contract disaster, but, I'd argue the downside is limited here with 100m cash on the books, company says it's profitable and earning cash, 4bn order book, gotta be worth more than the 55m ex cash valuation. | owenski
12/2/2021 09:42 | Almost 60p for 70,000. It's primed | gregpeck7
12/2/2021 09:39 | And bought back my 8800. Big-time stuff... But what else can you do? Zzzzz | imastu pidgitaswell

11/2/2021 12:35 | It's primed to move up IMO. | gregpeck7
11/2/2021 12:12 | It's just a mess at the moment I sold 8,800 shares 5 minutes ago, at 59.6, for around £100 profit. They are now 57.2 to sell - 4% in 5 minutes, on sod-all volume. Big spread, so can't even buy back for anything meaningful. But I can't change it, you just have to take it or use it. | imastu pidgitaswell
11/2/2021 10:09 | Agree. This is so cheap I cannot believe it. Great trading update. Massive COVID discount for no reason from what I see. Infra spend will boom under boris. | gregpeck7
10/2/2021 13:36 | Do you know, I've think they have just whacked this on account of the cladding announcement by Jenrick. Even though that has nothing whatsoever to do with Costain and the sector. And there is no volume, at all. Opportunity knocks - or it would if it wasn't for the bloody spread... | imastu pidgitaswell
09/2/2021 11:21 | A rough summary is in the header - and the links (final 2 links in the header) to the results presentations. | imastu pidgitaswell |
