07/2/2008 16:05 | Date: Thursday 07 Feb 2008 LONDON (ShareCast) - Recruitment support services firm Corporate Services said it is in discussions regarding a possible merger with support services and recruitment firm Carlisle Group. On the current terms of discussion, Corporate Services Group will hold 47% of the new merged company and Carlisle will hold 53%. Carlisle intends to form a new subsidiary, which will be capitalised to £4m and the shares of the new company will be distributed to Carlisle shareholders. Corporate Services group believes the combination of the two groups will create a support services business with total combined revenues approaching £1bn in 2007. Current chairman of Carlisle Kevin Mahoney will be non-executive Chairman and current chief executive officer of Corporate Services will assume a similar role for the new company.
