China likely works both ways here. It's probably causing some supply issues and probably also causing loads of enquiries from companies that are thinking about making their suppliers more local again. No doubt the pain will come before the gain but I think we're getting used to pain here!

Thanks for that link Aleman but if it was fair in my case the Courts would make her walk with very little and return all the properties I put in her name in case I popped my clogs early to prevent my executors going after my second wife and daughter.
Problem is in general men act by a code of honour but women just become strangers the moment they turn the switch.
Still I guess you cannot take it with you and once it’s done and dusted the brain will take back control from the heart.
Today every guy should get written permission from every woman before even jumping into bed with them, as they could find themselves in jail if they were to just shout rape.

Bit late for you clocktower, unfortunately:

Despite not being strictly UK law, a prenuptial contract in the UK will generally be considered binding “in full appreciation of its implications unless it would not be fair” after a landmark case in 2010.

Thanks P, I have no problem with no blame divorcees but unless there are circumstances that justify one party walking and still being supported in a fair and equitable way, there should be no route for one party to claim half of all wealth accrued prior to any marriage, and once children are grown up there are no reasonable excuses to give a younger partner that still has 20 working years ahead with her own pension etc 50% of the pot, when in truth the older partner is being dumped not just so one can have fun but because the younger one sees an opportunity to jump ship before the older partner starts to spend more of the capitol on health issues etc, if they wish to retire and stop bringing in the same level of bucks through their luck/skill or whatever.

Still, one just have to get over it and fight the fight.

clocktower: Very sorry to hear of your problems - Used to be able to mitigate these problems by co-habiting but the too politically correct (imo) judicial system in the UK have moved the goal posts and given the other halves meal tickets for life - even if it means the bread winner is forced onto the street. Hopefully Boris and crew will be able to reverse the new position of "guilty until proved innocent"

No P, I am not trading due to divorce proceedings - my mistake of marrying a much young model second time around but had almost 20 happy years. Just keeping an eye on a number of investments and liquidating here and there to cover some of the huge legal bills but this is one that I did add to at 7p a few weeks back and will be holding.

Bad enough being used as a piggy bank without having Courts giving your hard work away because the wife is looking for greener grass elsewhere. Time, they started to change and only award enough for basic needs when they have just enjoyed the benefits but want a younger model to have "Fun" and Party, and just walk out the door, and wait for one year to get what they want.

Coral do not make any products for the medical sector nor do they do any 3-D printing.

Do CRU use 3D Printing to maker any products?

If there is an employee that follows this thread maybe they can help with that question.

"The mouldings recycling plant has increased output following demand and is now running 12 hours a day. The plan is underway to increase the throughput to a 24 hour process by the end of March this year. The investment was to support not only the economic business plan but in addition the local community, by providing new jobs for local people, and giving others the chance to up-skill and develop."

Does anyone know if the supply the medical sector with any products?

They should be reading these threads and should now already have the idea righnellie. :-)

There must be a fair sized overhang as there has been a good wack bought between 6.5p and 7p over the past month but as soon as that is cleared I expect it will move up or we will see if it is a major holder that has been selling down with a R$NS before long.

Good idea Clocktower perhaps you should patent it. Half year report quite positive. Think this share is undervalued so I bought some. Perhaps others will take a similar view.....eventually

What CRU should have designed is plastic locking flood barriers that can be erected to protect homes. They could easily made stable by allowing rising water to fill the base with a flexible base skirt to reduce any seepage on uneven ground. Still, there is still time as I expect we will continue to see an increase in the flood warnings for some years to come.

I think we are yet to see the real impact on a whole range of companies because of the virus - with electronics being the worst to be hit initially imo. How long before UK factories in the car industry can keep output going is one major factor that will have huge knock on effects.

Fortunately, CRU forage into the auto sector was limited and another mistake we hope they will have learnt from earlier enough not to have any material effect at this time.

January sales picked up, I expect some other companies that were obtaining supplies direct from China may now be seeking UK suppliers,so with spare capacity CRU might gain some business but how quickly they can tool up for any of this business is the main question.

With Spring around the corner, the virus may hopefully come to a standstill and life returns to the factories in China.

Global one Pak import most of their products from the far east, including China. don't think other group companies would be affected, not sure if automotive sales are declining with market, also local authorities budget planning so maybe low sales in this area until new financial year

Could it be the China effect?
From 2019 accounts
£24,733 Group turnover
£3,069 of which Trigger sprays and nozzles 12.41%

As I understand it from previous posts here (e&oe) triggers sprays and nozzles are mainly imported form China. e&oe

If I am wrong I am sure Clocktower will point out my errors.

The corona effect - £300`s worth and the share price goes down 7%. Fear of factory problems or close down if the virus spreads I guess.

Easy money for a MM, someone bought 22186 yesterday at 7p and it seems they sold them this morning for just over 6.75p. Not a stock for quick turns or profits.

I am very impressed with your 'glass half full' view of CRU.Im am generally an optimist & see potential in most of my investments, even those currently performing badly .Cru continues to disappoint with monotonous regularity & the only positive to me is that JG is older than me & will ,at some point, want to cash in his chips ,hopefully at a profit.

You might be correct temeico as 7p seems to be the price someone is happy to pay but only slowly adding from time to time, not to push the share price upwards but if there was any better news, which there could be with the dropping oil price and maybe supply issues from China for some customers, the share price could jump back on any decent volume I suspect.

We shall see.
