Not sure flying is a likey outcome but positive interims & a confident outlook Statement could see us revisit 15p.Disappointing Interims with a 'jam tomorrow' outlook will see our recent gains rapidly erode. Our share price strength suggests positive news but we will have to wait & see, hopefully not for long

I have been invested since JG came aboard & my rationale was right in that he has built a diversified group & moved completely away from video/dvd covers ( which would have had us in administration). However, just as optimism builds & our share price starts to recover there has, with monotonous regularity,a series of disasters,My holding could not be easily sold in The Market & I bought originally in the hope/expectation that JG would "fatten" it up for sale ,which is when I would exit.I doubt whether he would sell now, unless he has issues forcing his hand, as the time to sell would be , if CRU could achieve it, after 3 or 4 positive ( & disaster free) trading updates, enabling a recovery in our share price & then a sale at a modest premium - say 30p ,as opposed to currently, when we may be lucky to get 15p.Encouraging to see our share price firming & we should presume there is a reason which we are not yet privvy to .

base7 why would you want to exit when the future looks brighter, it always beats me why holders, hold onto there losses but as soon as they can turn them around and break even or make a small profit, their off but leave the decent profits for others.

Still, good luck , each to their own.

I think you will find stocks have been trimmed, and profits will be back in fashion. Going forward, I expect to see the factory running at a much higher capacity than it has been for some time, now they have this accreditation. 15p is more the mark but I think JG may have found a suitor!!

It does look a bit unusual but it was too cheap. 10p seems more like a sensible place to wait for news.

Interims due imminently should demonstrate whether there is smoke without fire - or not.CRU has disappointed with monotonous regularity so I am not getting excited & would welcome a decent exit-if it was offered.

I expect there are buys not yet showing, and those selling now might be kicking themselves soon, as it expect it to hit 15p before the week is out, if not more before Christmas. Santa's gift.:-)

Seems to me that there must be some really positive news leaking out, following the stream of buys of late. On the other hand there might be a bid around the corner, and this is just the start of a big push up.

Chart looks like it is really breaking out.

This certainly sounds like positive news on both fronts; increased output and reduced costs, what's not to like!

At last it seems as though the positive vibes are returning. I expect the ramp up will coincide with the production of the new multi storage/waste unit that wa due to come into production anytime soon.

It looks like the re-cycling plant is a big success. going from a one shift operation to two shift and then 3 shift shows an expectation of a huge ramp up in usage and a significant upgrade in profit potential.

How does Macfarlane's packaging boost from Christmas internet sales affect Coral? I don't see the relevance

Coral'share price is creeping up, perhaps thanks to the stronger £? It helps margins.

Macfarlane Report this yesterday:

Stuart Paterson, Chairman of Macfarlane Group, said:

"I am pleased to report that Macfarlane Group's performance in the second half of 2019 has remained robust in the face of weaker demand conditions. On the assumption that the Group benefits from the normal seasonal uplift in activity in the remainder of 2019, the Board is confident that results will be ahead of last year and in line with its full year expectations for 2019."

If CRU has done or is doing as well and is benefiting from a seasonal uplift as well, then things maybe brighter than that reflected in the current share price.

I'm going to stick neck out and guess 1.2mn EBITDA but in reality have no idea. More interested in net debt coming down with capex being kept under control and some working capital being released. 7.5mn net debt would be a start. I think they will have to add another 1mn net debt from operating lease capitalisation because of accounting rule change but will ignore that

The quiet is encouraging as if any bad news JG would have announced.
