01/4/2019 10:38 | could this be a picture of the Coral totes in an Ocado warehouse? has anyone seen a picture of the totes that Coral are producing? The blue tub on their website is not the same as the ones in the Ocado video | pugugly
01/4/2019 09:21 | This video provides a good insight into the use of Totes in an auto store, which I assume is similar to the toes provided by Coral to on-line retailers. | clocktower
01/4/2019 09:08 | I am grateful for your feedback charo - wish I had been able to attend but it would be great to hear from any other investor that attended and spoke to the directors, as looking at the trades (buys) it suggests there was a very positive vibe. Maybe Ocado and others may be in a better position to starting taking the totes that I guess were in part due to go to Andover before the fire took out the warehouse. | clocktower
01/4/2019 08:51 | Clocktower Sorry covered a lot but not tile. | charo
01/4/2019 08:49 | Fair enough, lets hope it brings the rewards and business that it should. If they were well received at the investors show the stock might recover fairly quickly I suspect. Any mention of the tile trials? | clocktower
01/4/2019 08:37 | Clocktower You obviously have little understanding of manufacturing .They have to move and install then run in real time production conditions and as well train ope9rators. It is a fairly complex though compact line and as explained first of it's kind in UK. | charo
01/4/2019 08:25 | Thanks, very informative about the re-cycling plant but I thought they said (in a RNS) that following the delays in Jan, they had agreed to getting the plant on a turnkey basis - not one that was only be operating at 50/75% of capacity it now seems by what they were saying, due to a snagging period, which surely should have been sorted before now. | clocktower
31/3/2019 09:58 | Thanks charo,at lest they had the balls to face the music, even if it turns out to be all bluster and bull. Was JG looking very tanned and did you find out how long he spends out of the UK in the sun? Do you think it is possible that they will try to rectify the very poor way they presented the profit warnings? Any more info on the re-cycling plant and the cost of buying in materials? | clocktower
29/3/2019 20:57 | A lot of averaging down going on methinks. | lombriz
29/3/2019 16:03 | Do you think some of those decent size buyers are just speculators hoping that a number of investors will take a punt after hearing from the company at the investor show if not insiders buyers? | clocktower
29/3/2019 15:13 | charo as to my vague and unsubstantiated fears - I have said nothing to suggest they are anything but my fears, which looking at the size of the buy timed at 12.33 for almost 200k shares at 7p suggests others have no such concerns, and they are not alone it seems as there has since been another buy at 6.9p of 50k but as the share price has not moved up on these it seems I was not alone, however if it is one of the BoD`s buying we could see a better outlook than we have assumed I guess. | clocktower
29/3/2019 14:35 | Aleman Daniel Stewart went bust some weeks ago.The company can still address many of points in note,eg are sales holding up how is gearing what does next year look like. | charo
29/3/2019 14:27 | Most non exec chairman attend on Ave 10 meetings a year,Inc general meeting.Board meeting from 2 to 4 hours. Why such a focus on JG. Coo was appointed aug 2017 and promoted to CEO jan2018.Most comment supported this . As to clocktowers vague unsubstantiated reasons for fear I will ignore and await outcome. Hopefully the company will be our in force at investor show in queen Elizabeth centre London. | charo
29/3/2019 14:08 | How can they go to the investor show without a forecast? Why is there more buying going on than I would expect under the circumstances? My GUESS is that Daniel Stewart have a new note out that is not yet on the website that we might find out about in due course. | aleman
29/3/2019 13:26 | Looking at trades these last couple of days it, it seems to me that some are trying to make a quick buck and turn it into a trading share - something it is not. The only gainers have been the MM - we had investment knowledge with the last RNS and until we get something more than waffle at an investment presentation (as they cannot or maybe would will not want to disclose information that the market does not have). Although I sold some on the announcement of the material changes, as I thought it may drop further - I will await further news before I confirm the total hit I have already taken, and leave it still sitting as a paper loss - one that will hopefully recover but I fear the worst for several reasons that I will not post on this thread. | clocktower
28/3/2019 21:23 | Atholl 91 Jg at 71 paid UK tax for as I read tax on world wide income for 50 years.Having retired to Spain he has no choice under UK/Spanish rules but to pay tax in Spain on all world wide income. He however would be taxed in uk on any UK income which could be offset against Spanish tax,no double taxation, He would pay same tax on UK income to UK as if resident. Reading the accounts all his coral income is paid here so not an issue. | charo
28/3/2019 13:32 | Dividend in, pleased to say. | clocktower |
