20/2/2019 13:22 | Each time i post, the price goes up! | likitorma
20/2/2019 09:41 | Nice little buy likitorma, I guess that was yours. :-) | clocktower
20/2/2019 08:25 | When i bought in there was a negative feel around the company, in my view this has changed. It is apparent to anyone that we now have operationaly someone at the top who is making all the right decisions and changing the company to a much needed green future, doing so without getting the debt too high and giving us shareholders a dividend in the meantime, since i purchased 0,5. Who cares in the longer run whether a completely new installation is finished one month later or two months? They might even end up paying less if there are clauses in the contract. What i like to see much more is for instance the roof tile order materialising. Upping further the capacity of the plant. As the way down is a possibility, the way up on light volume also. In my view, all well for now. | ih_694895
20/2/2019 07:55 | Sells coming at 11.3p, getting lower everyday. Gap down on any delays? | likitorma
15/2/2019 14:54 | Agreed base7, like you I think Aleman set the position out clearly and in a concise manner. In fact I am surprised that to date we have not seen a couple more sales due to going Ex-Div. The shares are very undervalued imo at this time and I have been happy to add a considerable number to my holding over the past months, however I am now fully invested in this stock, and have been for the past couple of weeks. | clocktower
15/2/2019 14:11 | If there is a further delay we are at a fairly late stage in FY19 & a trading update can be provided which should project a very good year, notwithstanding recycling which will be a new income stream & ,presumably when online, providing material benefits to our bottom line-if not why mention it. That said, CRU have a history of being "accident " prone-which is probably why our share price remains so low | base7
15/2/2019 08:57 | I think you are very mistaken likitorma, bar any slight drift due to the lack of news, that may or may not attract buyers, the next news is more likely to send the share price considerably higher imo. We shall just have to wait and see which of us is correct. | clocktower
15/2/2019 08:37 | No matter how we try to paint it, the tweet suggests things have been delayed again. Expect a markdown once they formally RNS this. | likitorma
14/2/2019 14:17 | Great post Aleman-thanks .Presumably the supplier providing a turnkey service with view to the delays (whichbpresumably were their end) will result in training for any existing Cru staff deployed to the new plant & I also presume we have hired a plant manager who is familiar with the machinery & the process .This should be a very good year for us ,assuming no unexpected disasters hit ,as in the last couple of years .Perhaps once the plant is running well a comprehensive trading update will be issued | base7
14/2/2019 09:09 | Thanks for the response, really useful post. | rp19
14/2/2019 00:04 | I think "opening" means running at full efficency and "handing keys over" for final payment. Looking at the appeals for material, it will already be producing in trial runs. Don't forget recyclable material is of varying quality and needs cleaning of its variable contaminants that might need careful handling and disposal in some cases. It then has to be (I'm guessing) crushed, melted, extruded and chopped into consistent chips and then the resultant polymer tested for performance before and after being made into new product. They will take a few attempts for each batch/grade/quality to work out how much recycled polymer can go with new polymer to meet required customer performance standards. Some lab work might be needed but it might take a while to work out how lab work replicates into bulk. It will take time to get consistency and trial runs will be necessarily small to begin while they calibrate drives and controls. There are likely to be numerous tweaks in-house to get best mechanical performance and numerous requests to suppliers for problem contamination and presentational issues. Some suppliers might even get rejected after a few attempts. There could be health and safety issues over emissions (noise, effluent, smells, monomer emissions, breakdown products, etc.) that require extra equipment adding to the main kit to comply with regulations. That might only become apparent as trial runs are scaled up in some cases. There will be plenty of new challanges to uncover and overcome. Have they planned in enough capacity for utilities to heat and cool? Are there hot and cold spots that need evening out with engineering changes? Are drives and pumps powerful enough for the materials in this case? Lots to consider. The manufacturer may well have supplied the same plant before but not to handle the exact same qualities being put through it or in exactly the same surroundings. There will be variables that are new to them, too. Work procedures and health and safety manuals have to be written and staff trained and signed off and insurance checks to be done to run legally. I don't think it's just a case of bolt it together and hand over the keys. Running recycled product is a lot more variable than new only and will take a lot longer to commission. But "opening" in spring probably does not mean it is not running now. They might want it running sweetly and give it a thorough clean before handing the Lord Mayor the scissors to cut the ribbon in front of the photograpers. "Open" in a tweet might mean running smoothly and fit to show the public and customers, whereas it might now be running reasonably on occasion but with lots of technicians running around in a panic everytime they hear a funny noise or a safety switch trips out. I doubt they keep appealing for material just to pile it high in a corner and get dirty. Repeated requests for recyclables suggests to me it is running in a fashion. It is expected to enhance the company's margins but that might not happen until staff gain experience and settle into routines for longer runs. Perhaps it is running but will be only declared "opened" when starting to make some money so as not to mislead investors. | aleman
13/2/2019 21:58 | Twitter says that they are opening their recycling plant in Spring. Does this mean that there is a risk that the February installation date for their new machinery may slip? | rp19
13/2/2019 09:36 | One to watch listed in the UK Manufacturing Review 2018/2019 Coral working with | clocktower
12/2/2019 10:40 | A reminder: Interim dividend of 0.25p pence per share (2017: 0.00p). The ex-dividend date and the record date for the interim dividend will be 14 February 2019 and 15 February 2019 respectively. The interim dividend will be paid on 28 March 2019. I expect we will soon after get confirmation that the new plant is up and running but let us hope they get sufficient streams of HD & PP plastic to feed the new equipment, so it becomes fully efficient and brings all the benefits we expect. | clocktower
11/2/2019 16:08 | I see 100k buy has just popped up but I am surprised that someone managed to pick up so many below what was the offer of 12.5p when a MM moved up their earlier this afternoon. | clocktower
11/2/2019 12:23 | Aleman, I expect to see several re-investing their dividend when it does arrive later in the year, as I expect it to keep growing as the re-cycling plant benefits come to be shown on the balance sheet. | clocktower
08/2/2019 11:34 | Yes, and someone is picking up nice bundles of stock at cracking prices. | clocktower
07/2/2019 15:48 | Ex-dividend next Thursday. | aleman
07/2/2019 14:32 | Yes temelco - If a bidder offers to buy stock at 11p and a seller offers to sell stock at 11.2p then the sell is effectively a buy. Maybe likitorma was after this cheap stock as I suggested yesterday, if so good luck with it. | clocktower
07/2/2019 14:18 | Or they are buys | temelco
07/2/2019 13:46 | Bearing in mind that an earlier sell of just 10k was at 11.1p and the 92k was at 11.2p which suggests that it is more likely to rise imo. | clocktower
07/2/2019 12:41 | 92k sell. Will it hold? | likitorma
06/2/2019 14:34 | Maybe likitorma is just after even cheaper stock than it is already. | clocktower
06/2/2019 14:27 | likitorma has a history of posting odd and mostly pessimistic one-liners about various stocks. | aleman
06/2/2019 13:56 | bishan, I think the post relates to the supply of Totes - I was not aware that Ocado were the purchaser of these totes. If they are then I expect even more orders for Coral, as many of those they had will have been destroyed. I guess they will also need more at their other dispatch centres to provide them with extra capacity. So if it is Ocado that have been ordering huge numbers of Totes, then there will be a silver lining for Coral, and we can but wish that Ocado get the warehouse back on its feet before long, as this must have come at a very bad time for them. | clocktower |
