06/2/2019 13:16 | Excuse my ignorance Ikitorma, but how would the fire in Andover affect CRU? Thanks | bishan bedi
06/2/2019 11:52 | Shame about the fire in Andover. Could lead to morr delays unfortunately. Hoping they don't RNS it, else we wilk have a major markdown by market makers. | likitorma
30/1/2019 10:13 | The company must be needing more materials to ensure they can run the new equipment at full capacity, as I noticed they posted the following on their twitter: "We are opening our new in house #recycling plant! We want you to work with us to stop plastic going to landfill. Do you have #PP and #HD waste plastic? We will make a real difference for our environment if you work with us. Let’s recycle! #recycle #plastic" I would not mind betting that the company undertaking the install is running trials already and producing results. "WE NEED YOU! Well your plastic. #PP and #HD waste plastic. We will make a real difference if you work with us. Our new #recycling plant will be making new products from waste plastic, work with us to stop #plastic going to landfill. " | clocktower
29/1/2019 19:22 | Similar to the above, article in today's Metro reads "Samsung will replace plas ice packaging material with recycled and biodegradable materials before the summer. It will use pulp mounds made from recycled paperboard or newsprint for mobile phones and tablets and swap bags used for accessories, TVs and larger goods with material made from plastic wastes, starch and sugar cane...The company is aiming to use 500,000 tonnes of recycled plastics and collect 7.5 million tonnes of discarded products by 2030". | rp19
24/1/2019 12:11 | Adidas using more recycled plastic in shoes: With recycling plastic becoming the buzz thing, it seems to me Coral is well placed to be a leading business in the field, and once the first plant is up and proved itself I wonder if there is space at Haydock to add further machines? Anyone visited the site or up to date with the possibilities? If the roof tile order gets confirmed I guess that alone would be huge, as I assume they then will be able to offer them in all sorts of fashion colour's unlike standard roof tiles. | clocktower
23/1/2019 17:55 | Interesting article about the savings from the cooling plant installed last October. | clocktower
23/1/2019 10:29 | clocktower - at the AGM, I was told savings on polymer purchase would be very significant if all went to plan. I presume that is why the broker note repeatedly highlighted there are extra earnings to add to existing forecasts when the plant is up and running. | aleman
22/1/2019 22:10 | They seem proactive on Twitter which is encouraging and it would be good if the website were to be used. Ideally and in most cases, I think a RNS time of 07:00 is best. It is pre-market and gives investors a brief amount of time to appraise the news. | rp19
22/1/2019 17:21 | They need to update the company website and include contact e-mail addresses as well. the site is slow to load also. As for the release times of RNS - and our preferences, in my view 0830hrs would be the best - giving most investors a even chance and limiting the MM manipulation. Good or bad news the same applies but as regards the new recycling plant - in view that the supplier has agreed to ensure it is handed over as a turnkey project fills me with even more confidence that they more than likely have already run the plant but have identified the normal installation hiccups that the supplier needs to sort out but continues to run it on and off while these problems are rectified. However, they will clearly be demonstrating that it can run without these niggles then formally handing it over in Feb running at full steam ahead, hence the remarks about contributing this period. So I assume they will be using the recycled material well before it is handed over, and I would not be surprised to find out that a considerable amount of product has already been recycled. Question is, what is the capacity and how great are the savings? Will they be in a position to sell any overcapacity recycled material, and if so how profitable will that be? | clocktower
22/1/2019 10:31 | My heart murmur prefers companies that issue at 0700hrs, Clocktower. Nothing more sinister than that | bishan bedi
22/1/2019 10:20 | MW & JG must consider our new recycling business to be potentially more significant than The Market .In the whole sphere of things a short delay of a few weeks is not a big deal but perhaps our new machinery has the potential to generate more revenue, profitabilit | base7
21/1/2019 16:43 | Nice order from Monmouthshire Council: 45,000 x 44litre boxes for starters. How many other Councils will follow this? Well done Coral. | clocktower
21/1/2019 16:27 | You say that as though it is by design to hide something but as it is a positive one, I cannot see your point bishan. | clocktower
21/1/2019 16:24 | They do love a late afternoon RNS, this mob | bishan bedi
21/1/2019 16:14 | Spot on Aleman - and the share price has already bounced back. The delay is beneficial as it is to delivered as a Turnkey Project - my guess is that it is partly installed and the suppliers are having small teething problems as one does with major investments of this type but due to these delays they have agreed it is being delivered up and running, rather than a work in progress. | clocktower
21/1/2019 16:04 | So, the recycling plant is to be a month late but will contribute in this period. The fact they've RNSed a one month delay indicates that it is likely to enhance the company's total profitability significantly. Otherwise, why bother? | aleman
21/1/2019 16:00 | So this RNS sets out the delay but the good news is that it will now be delivered as a turnkey project. So I guess there are just the normal teething problems. Still how much it will push the share price down remains to be seen as I will soon be topping up further, once settled. | clocktower
19/1/2019 17:25 | Volume has almost always been pitifully low, resulting in very poor liquidity. If there is regular selling by 1 or 2 shareholders they are likely to be individuals, perhaps who received shares as part of their business disposal & they are not comfortable invested in individual stocks & prefer cash or a fund.Assuming The Fersters still own around 7 million shares & most vendors have retained the majority of their shares our real free float is extremely low .I am guessing that our dividend will double when thecFinals are released ,putting us on a prospective yield of 5%+ ,& barring any more disasters ,set to increase further by the end of the year when Interims are announced. I am currently very comfortable with our performance & glad to have bought more @ just over 11p following results . | base7
18/1/2019 12:56 | Not only it seems is 25k seller around but there seems to be a 10k buyer, still another sell or two it will be back at the support level of 12p to buy, however it seems that 10k buyer (if it continues) might push that level up, which may flag the next jump on any more positive news, to a new higher support level. | clocktower
17/1/2019 12:47 | It seems to me that there are Bexit sellers or those in need of cash providing stock at below the level that purchased some of the past add-ons that are now showing there teeth under current management. so there is a Brexit bonus for some, and in a company that is paying a dividend and not depending on EU sales. Still, time to sit back and wait for news, as I already have a decent holding as I have been long for some time, having invested and traded in this company for many years. | clocktower
17/1/2019 12:21 | Our businesses appear to be performing very strongly ,currently,& our new recycling plant is essentially a new business with an expected revenue stream & profitability ( according to MW)so I doubt that we will be looking at acquisitions (other than the odd bolt on or distressed sale)& issuing more shares while our share price languishes below the price other placings. If our results for the current year reflect the optimism expressed in recent updates & our Balance Sheet improves while substantially increasing the dividend, our share price should be much higher in a few months time-at which point we may become acquisitive again.I am sure that there will be many opportunities for acquisitions at a decent price as long as the value our currency increases beforehand | base7
17/1/2019 09:46 | It seems possible that someone from Coral monitors this thread, as I noticed that soon after posting yesterday about Coral`s twitter post about needing certain types of plastic, the post was removed - was it chance or have the companies needs been met? It would be a good idea if they would let shareholders know if the new plant is up and running and if it is running successfully - as that alone could help lift the share price imo. Another thing we shall also be seeing -is an updated website, as they posted on 14 Jan they were updating it with new features. They are also due to show at IdentiPlas 7-8 March at QE 2 Centre -London if anyone fancies learning more or meeting some of the team. kirmich - I think they will need to prove the investment in the plant before they buy another company but I agree with you, that might be a very good move.Maybe something for 2020. | clocktower
17/1/2019 00:00 | I believe they were doing trial work on cleaning recyclables around the time of the AGM and had people queueing up to give them material. If they are advertising, the optimistic and obvious presumption would be that the plant is up and running well now, which would enhance margins. There could be other reasons, though. | aleman
16/1/2019 21:26 | Recycling plant should have been delivered ,installed & operational some time this month | base7 |
