If there was an approach to buy the company, at what level do you think they would need to pitch an offer?

It is good to see a director purchase shares in a tax free ISA account.
Hopefully we are about to see some positive and long overdue developments here.

Yesterdays news was the forerunner to this movement I believe. It seems the overhang has cleared and we may expect some exciting news about some large Council orders in the next few weeks, which may send the share price up towards 16p+ again, or even higher.

Back on the right path again.

Going up at last - and not many shares have done that since the start of October!

Talking of Triad have you seen todays RNS?

RE: Coral`s RNS - it seems to me that Ms Gramauskas fancied placing her shares in her ISA to reduce any possible tax gain.

Since her transfer, the number of buys have increased.

Looking good and the place to be invested now imo.

Arthur - I looked at Triad previously and rejected but it is cheaper now. It doesn't look cheaper than CRU on likely current year earnings or cashflow at the moment but it has a lot of cash compared to market cap and could be cheaper if earnings and cashflow recover so I've started monitoring. Thanks.

The recent buying could be on the back of a possible RNS shortly about the new recycling plant being in operation, as I notice the company mentioned the plant on its twitter posting over the holiday.

Aleman, since you asked, take a look at Triad (TRD).

Yes, good to see this recover. I hold indirectly still through Rights and Issues Investment Trust. Not tempted to buy directly as it’s a fairly low quality business that requires continued high capital expenditure. Free cash flow is limited. Good luck to those directly invested though, as there is definitely a good angle if Haydock has been fixed. Good job they are not still in the DVD case market!

Pretax profit forecast is £1.8m before non-cash intangible write-offs. Market cap is under £10m. Current year should end at £3.4m EBITDA and £6.5m debt. Do you have a problem with a debt/EBITDA ratio of under 2? This is what I was asked by the board when I questioned how cashflow was going to be prioritised. They indicated cashflow would be used to expand the company rather than reduce the debt as they did not see an expected year-end level under 2 to need reducing any more.

If you can recommend small caps trading more cheaply than this, then please do!

That may all be true, but the company is on an ev of about £17m and currently making profits of around £1m pa. Debt is a bit too high for my liking and there are a good few small caps that I reckon offer better value.

JG has done a great job really, I stand by my comment that this would have gone bust if he hadn't diversified away from DVD cases and i'd be happy to see them succeed.

If you follow this twitter line you will see Coral are after Commercial quantities of plastic to re-cycle, so it would seem the equipment is up and running on schedule imo.

ALS - That`s far from the facts - Insolvency - it was never anywhere near that.

Price them on a forward projection and the potential growth that will arise from the re-cycling plant that will I expect attract a lot of Council Orders early in 2019 that may result in a big leap in the share price as I expect the dividends to increase over the next 12 months.

The company has top class management and having sorted out Haydock its in great shape.

DYOR.

It's good to see the company rescued from almost certain insolvency but I reckon the shares are priced about right at the moment.

You seem to have the magic touch charo - since you posted the buys have gone from Zero to Five. Will we see this tipped in the New Year Papers?

I see one MM has moved and only two left on offer now, so maybe we will jump towards 15p in Jan.

Have you decided to top up charo, as I notice a buy of 43k has gone through at ask?

Maybe someone is re-investing their dividend which was paid before Christmas.

At least we know that CRU are ready for No Deal having had discussions with customers and suppliers, and are in the right place to take advantage should there be no deal - maybe they like many see the advantages of having a clean break. Most turnover is from the UK and only 710K was from Europe and the rest of the world only accounted for 84k - so business could increase with the rest of the world with no deal I expect.
