04/4/2018 17:04 | Maybe just taking a few tax losses before year end to balance the books in that case dave4545. If that is all there is to it, bearing in mind the insiders buying since the last bad news, it could turn out to be a good time to buy in a few days time I guess. | clocktower
04/4/2018 17:00 | Did the same in MWG looks like Miton are having a clear out of their small cap investments. | dave4545
04/4/2018 16:47 | Today`s news of one of the large holders reducing their stake, which is not a good sign at these levels | clocktower
26/3/2018 19:58 | But think about those DVD cases....only joking | playful
25/3/2018 08:28 | I agree about the mouldings side. It should be dropped. | daim1
22/3/2018 20:17 | One area they seem to be lacking product for is the agriculture industry. I can think of many products that could be produced that would replace products that were designed a 100 years ago. | clocktower
25/2/2018 00:06 | They should get rid of the mouldings business or shut it down, this would be worth twice the price then. I dunno why Grimmonds so fond of it. | arthur_lame_stocks
16/2/2018 08:17 | Another PDMR building their stake, can only be more good news. The group have certainly shown their full backing for the company. | clocktower
13/2/2018 16:49 | fozzie, I agree with your comments following the purchases made mainly by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMR)- which I view as vote of confidence, than just seeing the BOD buying. After all these are the people really at the coal face. I would not be surprised to see the stock rebound rapidly after the results if the statements at that time are as positive as the buying by this group of PDMR`s suggests. | clocktower
13/2/2018 16:37 | JG was embarrassed with profit warning and will not want a repeat. Director buying, broad based as it is, massively reinforces my belief that sales are on track to deliver. | fozzie
13/2/2018 13:09 | Let's see how second half plays, needs really strong final quarter. | charo
13/2/2018 13:06 | Recovery well underway, with management having taken up a lot of the trading shares recently. | clocktower
12/2/2018 15:03 | Seems like the whole group have been buying with those announced a short time ago. Must be a positive sign imo. | clocktower
09/2/2018 08:12 | Only if he wanted to go to jail.maybe they believe in group. | charo
08/2/2018 19:56 | Could jg have possibly provided them with a loan to buy stock charo - or would they have to inform the market that he had done so? | clocktower
08/2/2018 16:05 | And no need of jg in buying.first time remember broad management support. | charo
08/2/2018 12:16 | With the stream of Director/PDMR buying, I think the one thing that can now be ruled out is a rights issue or funding at any substantial discount. Soon be back to the levels before the last profit warning imo. | clocktower
07/2/2018 11:44 | Another decent buy announced today by a PDMR of the company.Showing a lot of confidence and support. | clocktower
06/2/2018 17:50 | Charo, just listen to parliamentlive.tv about Carillion and tell me if you think some of the major investors were trading/selling their holdings down in the months following private meetings with the company? Do you think it was insider trading? hxxp://www.parliamen Then tell me about all the fraud that takes place that the AIM regulators and SFO etc etc do nothing about, even when given pretty solid evidence. Then take a look at listed companies where investors have been shafted by the directors, then delisted, and the regulators ignore the evidence. Take a look at what the bankers have got away with at the expense of stakeholders. The risks are next to ZERO but the rewards are high. Just takes a few to give the nod. | clocktower
06/2/2018 16:16 | Charo,If you were working for a company that was talking about placing a huge order with CRU for example, and if they have not signed or agreed to placed any order but in your wisdom thought they might, do you not think that a few with cash might just fancy buying a wedge, and just found themselves on the side of good fortune. Nothing to worry about if that was the sort of case. | clocktower
06/2/2018 16:09 | Clock tower again makes no sense if material new business market would need be informed.Any supplier entering into material business would be in dodgy territory if buying stock whilst in such insider knowledge. | charo
06/2/2018 15:46 | I doubt it is just the directors buying that has had seen the level of support in a market like it is now. I think fozzie might just be right, and we might yet see a rapid turnaround in Coral`s fortunes, if the new man has managed to sign up a few big profitable contract that would turn Haydock around in a flash. Maybe there is a supplier that is buying stock prior to signing a big deal. | clocktower
05/2/2018 08:26 | Not many stocks get marked up on a day like today but CRU did from 9.2p to 9.5p bid. Amazing what directors buying can do to a stock. Just 15k available at 10.5p online now | dave4545
05/2/2018 07:56 | i averaged down after the recent warning. Fridays buys whilst not big were comforting and i believe Wood will get us moving again. An experienced MD and a plastics man i am betting on a swiftish turnaround here. | fozzie |
