Probably not. I have considered it and rejected it. Existing cash will be 10.7p and rising when this deal completes. The property (c.3.5p) and trading businesses remaining (5-10p?) will likely add to that in due course. If I pulled money out and reinvested, I don't see it probably rising 100-140% elsewhere over a year or two.

Is it worth selling a few here while waiting for further news as lots of good bargains elsewhere and MMS will still 150k off you at 10p?

With just two weeks to go to the AGM we might see more buying on the expectation of more good news on the run up, as there have been several large sells that were soaked up without a blink.

Agreed, and a lot more but look at last time Miton were selling at around 4/5p just before really positive news. Sometimes, they just rejig their portfolios, as we all do from time to time but of course theirs are much larger and have a major effect on the sp, even if totally out of line of value.

I have wondered from time to time, if these sorts of enterprises sometimes use selling tools as a reward scheme to those in the know.

Either way, clock, the company will be worth more than 10p a share.

It seems that one of our larger holders is selling up and moving on, as we have seen a couple of bigger sells over the last days of 100k - good support yesterday but the MM must have known the seller was still unloading as they kept the bid at 9p.

Maybe Miton selling off again?

More likely in my view, is to sweat it and sell it all, having shrunk the company.

I would guess that some of the money will be used to invest in the business by upgrading some of the equipment, sales and marketing etc. There may be some acquisitions that are in prospect. I would also expect the dividend to be reinstated.

Almost 10p per share post disposal which is far in excess of our working capital requirements.Unless there is a bigger plan in the background, eg reverse takeover , I would expect a capital distribution & reduction in share capital as that will be most tax efficient for JG & remaining board members - in which case they would be ambivalent between a special dividend or capital distribution.Mine are all in Isas or Sipp - so I am ambivalent too.15-20p value our best hope, IMO- which is significantly better than 4p

MM just soaking up those bigger 100k sells without a blip, which is good to see at this stage of CRU's recovery.

Crazy to think still only valued at cash after this transaction goes through. Then there is the freehold and the remaining profitable businesses to throw in to the mix aswell. Surely the only way is upwards here in the short term. Firm hold for me.

So with £1.5 million of debt reduction, how is JG going to delivery shareholder value with the remaining £7.9 million and the remaining other very profitable assets?

"3. Principal terms of the Disposal

The Disposal is being sold for a gross sum of up to £9.4 million, of which circa £1.5 million will be used by the Company to repay existing bank debt.

The net proceeds from the Disposal will be circa £7.9 million, having repaid existing bank debt of approximately £1.5 million. The Board will conduct a review to determine the most advantageous route to deliver shareholder value and apply the net proceeds from the Disposal. "

Three more big trades of 250k each today and two @ 11.25p so clearly a big buyer in the background.

I think timbo`s post below provided a good insight, and there were other posts around that time that provided a good consensus of value.

“The disposal wipes out the debt it's not free cash”

May be so, but it wipes out the debt and leaves about £5m free cash as far as I can see

The group had approximately £7.1m of net debt at the interims, but if you look at today’s announcement, the net debt/liabilities of the continuing group is just £2.9m and that is before accounting for the £7.9m proceeds from the sale (so £4.2m of that

Sold today - good luck the rest of you. Personally cannot see where the remaining slimmed down business is going. Might be worth returning to if they use the sale cash to buy a couple of other good (covid distressed) businesses. They need to reduce quite a bit of their debts with the cash they will receive. 5 million business left?

When you look at the deal that JG struck, I find it a little surprising that the buyer just did not make an offer for the whole shareholding of CRU bearing in mind how low the share price was and the fact that Miton were a seller at the time.

I wonder if that 250k buy at 11.25p is JG buying - if so a RNS tomorrow and I expect that might send the share price in to the stratosphere.
