Prima facie, trades give the impression virtually all sales today, and looks to me like a significant holder selling out, though price holding up,but what the heck do I know. The way these market makers operate is very confusing, but that's to be expected I suppose.

Price of Gold at multi-year highs and Cora at multi-year lows.

Looks like the situation is equalising.

Don't know about the specific political risks of operating in the area which makes it a no-no investment, and there are far bigger companies operating in that part of Africa.. This one is in Southern Mali and Senegal where corona virus isn't a major problem and company/employee relationships seem as good as they could be.

You can't have everything, or it wouldn't continue to be regarded as a mining spec !

My personal bet is that these are very abnormal times, and in the stock market equally so, so when things revert to some sense of normality, a few bold persons will make a fortune at the expense of many many others. That's life for you.

You have to factor in the political risk of operating in Mali as well.

Agreed, but we're at the bottom of the staircase just now, not at or near the top when most are sucked in by the inevitable hype. For me,50p would be like winning the lottery, but I'll settle for a lot less than that.

I had a punt here a few months back. It all depends on what they find and how much dilution we then have to take to exploit the opportunity. As with all expo companies high risk high reward. 50p or 0p I suspect

If you have a company with a ridiculously small cap, and with everything to play for, then even with a half decent chance of success in two hot areas,Mali and Senegal, the likelihood of eventually seeing a steep acceleration of the share price must be pretty good now.

As a casualty of the general market downturn, when the market eventually gets to look at explorers.this one seems a standout to me. The same RNS,like today's, in less stressful times, would have seen a positive spin being taken, but with virtually all news taken as bad news these days, its a chance for the smaller investor to make some money. I've put my money where my mouth is.

Spot gold price action looks like it is taking a breather now considering the precious metal is lower on the day by about 0.5%. Catalysts for today’s modest dip are limited when taking the theme of widespread risk-aversion into account, which typically bolsters bullion.
The small pullback in spot gold prices today also seems peculiar in light of the spike in volatility and US Treasuries. There is generally a strong positive correlation between the price of gold, US Treasuries and volatility.
GOLD PRICE CHART TECHNICAL OUTLOOK

Chart created by @RichDvorakFX with TradingView
That said, the latest bit of downside in gold might be driven by healthy profit-taking and unwinding of long positions after the precious metal skyrocketed to its highest since January 2013 yesterday.
Gold prices appear to have found initial technical support around the $1,635 level and 23.6% Fibonacci retracement of the commodity’s most recent bullish leg. This area may have potential to keep bullion buoyed going forward before a retest of the $1,600 price level might be considered.

Grades could've been better but only shallow holes that can change with the deeper holes, the new mineralised c zone is a big plus to coro that will add more valued ounces to our expanding portfolio, looking forward to next set of results.

Gold reached a low $1638 new resistance, now heading back up an improvement of $80 in 10 days great for all gold companies, can see gold testing 1700 a few time before reaching another level, this virus not going away short term, can see further bad news to come in the markets, china disrupting export supplies this will filter in the market next few months.

Bert Monro, CEO of Cora Gold, commented, "This latest round of drill results has identified a new +1,500m long gold structure representing a continuation of Zone B North. This is particularly encouraging given that the shallow drilling undertaken is only designed to provide a guide to the location of the structures. This has similarities to early results from Selin before deeper holes were drilled, and a maiden Resource was declared. Additionally, a further 500m of strike to the west of Zone C was also identified as a new mineralised zone. I look forward to releasing the remaining results from this programme once they are received."

Bit of patience needed, more results to come, gold taking a breather. also seen strong director buying here months ago, can see this hitting 10p again if gold can stay or improve from where it sits now. Market cap 5m 66m shares Hmmmmmmmmm tad under valued me thinks.

Its all so one sided here, and assumes no further resource will be ever be found but money will always be needed to develop only what exists ;hence dilution. This is an EXPLORATION company, with much better exponential growth,so if one is talking about a company that has no potential, then CORA isn't for the naysayer, but is definitely worth a gamble IMO.
