05/10/2013 15:49 | Signals a greedy mm. Management gave up as soon as legal dispute kicked in | leoneobull
04/10/2013 15:13 | Loverat fair points. however, even if the management have given up, that's no bad thing if its a hopeless case to fight through the courts. I think that's a prudent position to take. Why spend $100,000s on legal fees fighting a system which is stacked against you. My excitement surrounds 1. the confirmation and re-affirmation that management are conserving cash and the fact that we still have a touch more than 4p in cash which has just been verified in the accounts 2. this is then essentially a $13m cash shell - not bad imho. with this level of cash the next deal would have to be substantive say 30% purchase price, 30% spend on asset to develop and enhance value, and hopefully keep 30% cash so that Board don't have to come back to the market for more placing at very low levels 3. even if we get half of the written value on the sale on the current asset, very happy horrible spread (no expert) but signals a buyer to me? | xcap
02/10/2013 20:10 | Leoneobull Whilst I would not particularly recommend this as an investment based on the two assets I do not think there is much downside in the current price. The company has cash of 4p. The market has more or less written off the assets. One is involved in a legal dispute which seems uneconomical anyway and the other is in the middle of a territorial dispute. I bought these on the basis that the cash underpinned the share price and any news on the two mines represented potentially huge upside. I sold these the other day because I just don't think the management are bothered about the company. The language and tone in the RNS suggested they could not give a damn and had given up. However, the worst I could realistically envisage for investors is that putting funds into this will simply sit there like the management and do absolutely nothing. A bit like owning premium bonds. | loverat
02/10/2013 19:53 | I can't believe there are people ramping this. I would not advise anybody buying until there is clarity on basay.. | leoneobull
30/9/2013 19:26 | Are they looking at selling the asset that has the legal dispute? no official statement has been received on the renewal of the exploration permit, which expired in December 2012 | euclid5
30/9/2013 19:18 | Yes definitely and you can see why at this cheap price. | topinfo
30/9/2013 19:14 | yeah some hefty buys over the last week, there was another for 1250000 shares today - one last Friday and another for a 1000000 a day before that. Someone building a stake ? | house atreides
30/9/2013 11:04 | Look at buys again here. This is going alot higher now. | topinfo
30/9/2013 10:56 | This is a massive no brainer IMO. Xcap you are correct mate They have 4.1p+ in cash at current exchange rate and are in talks over $20 million asset sale which is another 6.5p in cash so thats 11p alone and share price is 2.75p. lol not for long. Buyer back with 325k buy. | topinfo
30/9/2013 10:44 | 4p in cash conservation of cash a prority $20m asset for sale all looks good to me | xcap
30/9/2013 10:07 | So there we have it, even the little plonker at Goldman has very little idea as to what is going on here, lets just have the cash back to shareholders and allow Alland to keep the shell to sleep in! | jotoha2
30/9/2013 07:21 | 2.53 vs 2.575 | house atreides
30/9/2013 06:39 | CDC some doomsters tried to say their cash would be alot less but look, its over 4p+ per share compared 2.75p share price and they are negotiating trade sale or J/V. Should do well 2day. Given the distressed capital markets for mining companies and the consequent difficulty in arranging a sale or joint venture of copper mining projects in the current environment, the Company has reduced expenditures to the minimum and is continuing to keep the Hinoba-an and Basay projects on a care-and-maintenance basis. With these measures in place, we are in the best position to preserve our significant cash balance, currently at US$14.4 million as at 30 June 2013 (US$14.3 million as at the date of this announcement), while continuing to review possibilities for a trade sale or joint venture. | topinfo
28/9/2013 16:33 | That code for Goldmans are short and no dice! LOL | melodrama |
