23/12/2013 07:59 | Specto - tongue-in-cheek of course; though I wouldn't put it past a devious strategist like Robert Ware! New Solera contracted to warehouse the stake!#~? Topvest - yes. back in 2010/11 CIC bought into LSR - a rather unsuccessful foray. At its peak in Mar'11 they held 3.85m (4.7%). Sold their stake down in 2012; and final sale of 2.3m @ 24.95p in Jan'13. | skyship
23/12/2013 07:47 | Tongue-in-cheek from Skyship - we had a debate at the time of them dumping about who was right - CIC or New Solera - and I guess CIC won. Plus CIC seem to have become more & more about development (which they're proving adept at) than the commercial property investment/managemen | spectoacc
22/12/2013 19:43 | I think Conygar did hold shares in LSR but sold them earlier this year? | sleepy
22/12/2013 18:22 | Looking at the Conygar accounts, I don't think they own any shares in LSR. | topvest
19/12/2013 12:58 | Interesting - not sure about that. Have some LSR and what a dog it's been. I would be happy to take some CIC equity in return. | topvest
19/12/2013 11:51 | Robert Ware and Preston Rabl each bought 200,000 shares @ 154p. Now that they've got their £30m from the ZDP placing I expect a cash bid for LSR at a cheeky 35p/share - a TAP Mk2!!! Cost = £28.9m + expenses | skyship
16/12/2013 21:50 | Looks better here at Conygar now with executive pay moderated and steady progress. One error in the Annual Report - It looks to me like the Auditors have signed the wrong audit report as these changed for periods starting 1 Oct 2012 - maybe a change needed on that front if they can't get this basic thing right? | topvest
16/12/2013 09:51 | Well done CIC, £30m at 5.5%, payment deferred for 5 yrs, hope they tell us what they plan to do with it at the AGM on 6th Feb. K. | kramch
16/12/2013 08:56 | rns on pref placing out | jaws6
05/12/2013 18:49 | paleje..thanks for the link | lochgarman
05/12/2013 09:53 | Stepping stone to bigger rewards:- Peter Batchelor, Conygar and Roadking Holyhead director, said: "We had identified the requirement for this facility some time ago and considered a variety of sites but unfortunately they were all too remote from the Port. Thanks to a decision taken by Mrs Edwina Hart AM on behalf of the Welsh Government to make the land available at Parc Cybi, the project can now proceed and create much needed jobs. "We are confident that this facility will be the catalyst for the development of Parc Cybi as a distribution warehousing centre for the logistics industry using the port of Holyhead." | paleje
03/12/2013 21:43 | Yes, all looks good. Nice to see that directors' emoluments are sensible as well. | topvest
03/12/2013 16:20 | IC agree with you jbarcroftr, they tipped it today (not ST). But the interesting thing is Simon Thompson has got CIC on his to-do list to publish an update column on them, as far as I can see he usually does that independently of colleagues so perhaps a pick up in share price in the next week or so. IC today say "Conygar's shares would look cheap even if it weren't for the huge potential of its development projects. We therefore reiterate our buy tip" | paleje
03/12/2013 10:00 | Pretty solid results.Lots of potential from the developments I think. | jbarcroftr
15/11/2013 14:30 | Results were out at the end of November last year.Anyone have date for this year? | jbarcroftr
14/10/2013 16:17 | My thinking is that short term the recent share article will bring a lot of people in that will look very carefully at the real potential of cic. The TP of 150p I feel can be passed through with less trouble than is normal when a pundit announces that is when to sell. | greg the grinch
14/10/2013 16:14 | Yes it is 3 years old but the story remains the same and on target. They have a number of big fat development projects and that will over time turn to big fat profits. Meanwhile we have a steady stream of nav increases that do not highlight the potential. | greg the grinch
14/10/2013 14:35 | greg....that is nearly three years old ! Do you not have a more recent base for your confidence as a long termer ? The full year results will be out next month so we should have a better view and know the updated NAV then. | davidosh
14/10/2013 14:21 | Im a long term holder based on this | greg the grinch
08/10/2013 14:17 | NAV on cic is? I reckon 190p ish. Im a long term holder regardless. GLA | greg the grinch
07/10/2013 20:18 | No Skyship I'm not... :) | nickg2
04/10/2013 08:33 | nickg - you're not by any chance another Nick Greenwood are you? I remain a bull here; but still far prefer that other propco developer DSC - now standing at a prospective NAV discount of 25% versus 22% for CIC. The DSC Interims later this month should provide an interesting update and NAV revision... | skyship
04/10/2013 08:07 | Great things to come long term for this progressive company | nickg2 |
