06/8/2021 09:06 | Hopefully, the share price will now break out of the downtrend in place since the end of 2020. Looking forward to the prospective 10% divi increase next year! | woodhawk
06/8/2021 08:49 | From memory don't think so | williamcooper104
06/8/2021 08:25 | Does anyone know if withholding tax is applied to the dividend ? Thanks in advance. | flagon
06/8/2021 08:02 | Decent results | t-trader
04/6/2021 10:50 | A new 18MW acquisition today, too, for some perspective on the 25MW @ Kivu. research-tree. com/newsfeed/article | breezer_42
04/6/2021 10:18 | Lake Kivu is 25MW, planned to rise to 100MW, out of a total of 6300MW of assets. It could be a problem but seems likely to be small in relation to the size of GLO's assets. Have you any more information? I can't find a great deal online. Reports suggests deaths from lava near the volcano and earthquake damage in the city of Goma, which many evacuated but seem to be returning to. (The world is a strange place. What drives people to live near a volcano and poisonous lake that both seem to erupt every 2 or 3 decades, with the added bonus of lots of earthquakes thrown in?) | aleman
02/6/2021 13:44 | Looks like our Lake Kivu asset is getting a little weaker due to worrying 200 earthquakes recently . As per Sunday times 31st May "it supplied 70 per cent of Gomas power but its power lines were destroyed by the lava". It could be "Apocalyptic"! | cyfran101
19/5/2021 20:06 | They have stopped share buyback?! Share quite illiquid big holder | rolo7
18/5/2021 14:35 | Agreed, profit and dividend too good so should be doing much better | sam 4224
18/5/2021 13:40 | Surely there must be a large distressed seller holding this down? Every small rise is immediately pulled down. | woodhawk
18/5/2021 09:28 | yep i added yesterday support around these levels. | rolo7
18/5/2021 09:20 | Doubled my holding this morning, looking oversold imho Plus ex dividend on the 20th | t-trader
13/5/2021 16:03 | I have decided to buy more as well, | sam 4224
13/5/2021 10:16 | Bought a few last week purely for the sustainable (and steadily growing...) yield. After this morning's TU and divi confirmation, I'm wishing I'd bought more. | value hound
07/5/2021 13:04 | Have you seen STCM, though? After April's good trading update, most invested there think the dividend could increase from 4p to 5p, yet you could buy them for 20p last May and, despite the sharp recent rise, they are still only 50p, which equates to an 8% historic yield and possibly 10% prospective. A persistent large institutional seller was depressing the share price for months and then stopped a couple of months ago. (Sorry for going off-topic but numerous dividend hunters here might find them interesting, despite some perceived risk from operating in Kazahkstan.) | aleman
07/5/2021 10:12 | Made some good gains with APF over the last six months - taken some profit there this week. | woodhawk
07/5/2021 10:03 | i agree re undervalued. growing dividend. very surprising | sam 4224
07/5/2021 09:55 | This seems strangely undervalued - much like another of my holdings, M&G currently yielding over 8%. Still, nice to buy them on the cheap. | woodhawk
07/5/2021 09:49 | hi aleman, yes a lovely dividend. also anglo pacific for me as well | sam 4224
07/5/2021 09:35 | I had a modest holding of these which I sold in the last tax year for CGT purposes after a nice profit. I've bought back a bigger holding now. The company should be announcing a first quarter divided of 4.47 cents next week, which should equate to nearly 13p per year, or 6.5%. All my yield stocks have been rising this year. I think GLO has a bit of catching up to do, though I don't think I can complain if they just hit their dividend targets. | aleman
19/4/2021 09:10 | decided to reinvest dividend. am positive long term | sam 4224
19/4/2021 08:59 | Sam - you're most welcome. They're certainly not definitive and as always dyor, but that's my understanding of the business. | breezer_42 |
