Ah, A few welcome Green Trades.... I was thinking Quanta. These maybe Option trades as we noted before that how would T trade be recorded if the actual stock hadnt been purchased. Does anyone else have an idea of what the green trades are. ??

Q I never did go into these, if you want to recoup some money take a look at antofagusta minning co but big profits cheap price of copper has knocked them back through sentiment wouldent be surprised to see 75p on the current price.

Glotel has received a "QUEENs' AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE 2001".
I thought it's nice to see that their effort is not down graded by every one. At the end, quality companies always get the rewards they deserve.

2.080.000 and some bits shares traded.
whababoum, 5th element.
a mix of X's, O's and T's.
Well at least that price collapse do bring some big players to move their wallet.
If only I had cash!
and the more I think about it, the more I realise that in contradiction to what everyone says, there seems to be cases where averaging down can be a good move?

Fortunately for me, Glotel never crossed my path until
today. The earlier postings indicate some v. nasty
losses have been incurred - so sympathies are extended.

Thing everyone drifts down that path at some time -
I got hit for a 95% loss, among others, last year on
some wretched company I have now forgotten.

So - not encouraging anyone to try desperate measures
; but reading the press statements dated 9th
Feb (which triggered a nasty fall) and today's (which
did the same again) ; I cannot see that much difference.

The £1m bad debt is not new, neither is the hit for
office closures. Profits will be hit in H2 - but
that was obvious - so why another 40% drop ???

Perhaps it's the lack of liquidity in the free float.

Anyway, I will be watching this one closely for a few days.

Q still would, ent average down they are plenty of co,s for you to invest in that might give you your losses back, but wait for weakness in the market. Saying that it is rare that a company gives two warnings and then the results are worse I am getting very intrested but still will wait.

Well guys,
I do not think there will be much point posting anymore on this thread, at least not for me.
I've been caught very badly here! bought at 560p thinking I was joining a "safe" horse within the telco's related companies.
Twice it went down by almost 50% making it absolutely impossible to operate any kind of stop-loss what so ever!
Or on a more positieve note, maybe this could be one of those occasions were one has to buy lower in order to bring the entire holding at a more acceptable level.!!! even though "averaging down" is never advised. I do not see any other way to see mu money back within at least 2 years otherwise.
Any other strategy from you guys most welcomed!

it means that someone has a t trade on 350k rather than sell they managed to persuade the mm to roll it over for an agreed period you will see the price difference between the two, this will be the mm cut for the deal.
wanabee

Oh ok, I see,
So the MM's cut is (in this case) .75p per share x 335k shares = £2,5k
Not bad at all.

Thanks Wanabee.

Thanks Wanabee,
I give them a ring in due time and shall defnitely try to attend.
Sign of recovery ... I guess I am waiting for that as well. I assume the only way to get my small investment there will be to somehow average down, although the rule seem to be to never do that. Of course if one buys at 560p like I did 2 months agao, then you tend to be quite willing to "bend" the rules a bit.

Well, we can safely state that this share has perfectly..... CRASHED in the last 3 months.
It's very hard for me to look at it and realize that I bought those at 520p and thought it was a bargain then ... sob sob.
I wish them all the best and hope that, one day, I'll see my money back!

I have to say, June is a very busy month for us here at work + we are expecting our next toddler mid June, but somehow I really want to make it to their AGM. I am too keen in hearing what their recovery plan is.
Both director (and company founder) hold 20M+ shares so I am quite certain it affects them even more than it affect them, but still.
I hope some of you guys can make it as well?

That 265k trade were purchases? If you scan the trades page - the buy/sell price is right up against the bid price and not the offer. Nevertheless - This has been a miserable share. Is it worth contacting Glotel or is it just the market?
