what I think the board can not defend is the loss of the companies funds by ordering and receiving (if?) environmental impact study. it does costs a lot and if ordered just per se it is neglience or plain out stealing of the Cos funds. because study has probably a time span of its use. one orders it because one needs it and makes all the further steps after receiving one. Co management got it and as far as I know did nothing towards utilise the study.

I assuem that just one of the purposly false motives was an intention to placate the existing shareholders and to raise new capital under the false assumption of progress towards operating mine , perfectly well knowing by BOD that there Will be no mine before EI study done expires.

might be wrong but as far as I can see it I am right.

I would also suggest for a GM to vote on the special forensic audit regarding several items - one of them being how much was paid to the financial service industry and lawyers (broker notes ....)

I would also request if the renumeration decisions are and were based on the legaly standing paperwork and if some papers were written later and anti dated. as the greates shareholders investment was salaries it is logical to check legality of it.

it has to be insider dealing
a cardinal rule is that a director cannot trade shares in possession of inside info
the new shares were announced and probably registered after the proxy time expired
so the board knew how many shares they had to issue
this is a criminal offence
it should be pursued

Goldeneye keeps playing the man rather than the ball. TW, O'Sullivan are far from perfect but ANYONE would be better than the current CONroy cabal who have destroyed shareholder value, and are now desperately trying to cling on through use of placings and convertibles to stay just ahead enough to win any vote. The only way I could change by view on CONroy would be if he provided a significant (say £5mn) unsecured interest free credit line to CGNR which is not convertible and which is earmarked solely for project advancement rather than SG&A. I doubt it.
