03/8/2016 08:36 | Market clearly hasn't noticed that rns... I'm impressed | goldeneye5
01/8/2016 15:01 | I understand the plans were to drill Glenish first and then move on to Clay Lake. Drilling should therefore have already started. | simonparker5
01/8/2016 12:30 | Anyone know if drilling has started at clay lake yet? | goldeneye5
27/7/2016 22:22 | The "KDR is on the cusp of a massive diamond find" theory gets trotted out here every year or so in response to the dawning realisation that developing a mine costs a bloody fortune, which means massive dilution....so the old Prof is clearly going to win the euro millions lottery and hand that over to CGNR to build a mine. The chances of that are about the same as any of us winning the lottery. What might happen is that Metal Tiger ensure a reign is kept on the ludicrous level of board room pay, and ensure a programme of work is done with the placing monies which proves up something which is real (ie all the data disclosed!) and interesting enough to attract someone else with deeper pockets to take it on as project operator. That truly would be an appropriate swansong for the Professor. Over to Metal Tiger. | craffert
27/7/2016 19:10 | I don't think Lahtojoki is any where near the size that would interest Rio. The craton hosts big deposits over the border hence Rio's approach of letting KDR do and pay for the exploration with back-in rights if anything big enough is ever proved up - a long path in diamonds. | bageo
27/7/2016 12:44 | Oh right. I see what you mean. | kevjones2
27/7/2016 07:04 | I'm just saying if (and a big if) KDR hits the jackpot, then there is a good chance "Conroy PLC" and the Prof (which both stand to make a fortune if KDR is successful based on there % shareholdings) would then back CGNR financially. The prof has always invested his own money in cgnr so if he was then in a position to make it a reality, it's fair to assume he would want to do that. Just a scenario. Probably unlikely, however cannot be discounted. | goldeneye5
27/7/2016 02:19 | Goldeneye, are you suggesting that good news for KDR is good for CGNR? I rknow they're related by the Prof but how do you see KDR's success reflect on CGNR? I may be missing the point (probably am)! | kevjones2
26/7/2016 22:28 | I mean KDR of course, sorry. | goldeneye5
26/7/2016 22:27 | Possible commercial diamond find or decision to mine which they are supposed to be mulling over(presumably with Rio footing the bill). They give nothing away on their website in terms of their projects which suggests that they are keeping a lid on everything as they go along. Metal Tiger CEO investing heavily on a personal basis. He must see something. This is a risk/reward play, shareholders (in particular the prof) will either make an absolute fortune or nothing. I suspect they aren't wasting their own time/money, nor risking reputations. They have been positioning themselves in Finland in stealth mode for a number of years. Very little promotion from the company. I noticed how quick they dropped one licence/project when there was local decent due to environmental concerns. They are clever. We shall see. Due a mining decision by sept/October is some reports are to be believed. It's got risk, but it's a really interesting minnow! | goldeneye5
26/7/2016 19:21 | windfall in Finland - on what news basis? | bageo
26/7/2016 15:31 | For sure. Toronto should have brought some interest here. I would be surprised if it didn't. There is possibly a partner in waiting. Can you imagine what will happen to the share price on an announcement of a partner for Conroy! There is also the possibility that they may be in line for a windfall in Finland, and they may know that and be stalling in Ireland, thinking that they may be indirectly in a very strong position financially soon and would not be as dependant on the joint venture for cgnr, thus delaying them from committing to terms. It's been a long time, so I have come to expect nothing and hope to be pleasantly surprised. | goldeneye5
26/7/2016 15:05 | The problem is the Prof keeps coming out with interviews saying this is going to be great. I've long since expected developments in 2016/17 but we really need a time-frame at this stage. It seems to be test after test after test. We know the gold is there in high grade and decent quantities - it's about time CGNR actually started mining in my opinion. | kevjones2
26/7/2016 14:48 | A return on investment is hoped for fairly rapidly....could be another hint...no idea, but hope so. | goldeneye5
26/7/2016 14:17 | Thanks for posting the link Goldeneye5, I like the bit about joint ventures with bigger players. Don't think I have seen this mentioned before? Could it be a hint I wonder. | simonparker5
26/7/2016 12:57 | Indeed it does, odvod. Thecynical1 seems incapable of controlling himself (never mind admitting he got something so spectacularly wrong). | kevjones2
25/7/2016 16:52 | 7338 - do you think anyone cares what you think? Get over yourself | thecynical1
25/7/2016 16:51 | I'd say 7334 was a rant but hey.... 7338.....borderline. | thecynical1
23/7/2016 11:54 | "Obnoxious?, Patronising? Arrogant?,Pompous? All of them ,methinks" .So right!! Methinks that too!! | newprom |
