13/6/2018 11:28 | wllmherk Earlier you stated that the dividend due on 6th July would be paid. Is this correct? Are they referring to future divis only. Thanks. | billy5
13/6/2018 11:27 | That wording isn't ambiguous at all. It's actually incredible clear. At least a substantial reduction. Quite simple and clear. | nigelpm
13/6/2018 11:25 | Zen is correct nigel, tried buying first thing this morning sub 20p and the order couldn't be filled. He might well be correct that you both couldn't buy through a standard broker but plenty could with DMA. | nigelpm
13/6/2018 11:22 | The amiguous phrasing of the dividend statement is poor. I first took it to mean a substantial reduction at worst, hence not axed altogether, but maybe it means possibly more than a substantial reduction so it could be axed. Poor grammar means it could mean either. You can sack whoever chose that wording, as well! Who knows what they will do with the dividend? But the cashflow from news distribution should remain considerable. It did well in the last recession and they have not flagged any issue with it. It was the largest generator of cash within the company and still seems sound after several updates showing problems elsewhere. | aleman

13/6/2018 11:17 | Zen is correct nigel, tried buying first thing this morning sub 20p and the order couldn't be filled. I think the dividend will be axed altogether going forward, the update said, 'the dividend for FY2018 will, at a minimum, be substantially reduced from that paid in FY2017'. The key wording, 'at a minimum'. Far under water now with my holding but, I will keep holding for now. wllm | wllmherk

13/6/2018 11:15 | Incompetence, yes, but debt was lowered by book sale and cashflow from news should remain strong - it held up through the last recession. Costs for PmP should not be too high because nobody has worked there for long. It should be mostly non-cash charges, although it might have abandonment penalties on some contracts not worked through. Banks mostly work off cashflow and debt for covenants so they should not change that much. Care to elaborate? | aleman
13/6/2018 11:07 | What a mess! balance sheet a mess; management a mess: business strategy a mess. Yes, it generating cash at a declining rate, but it's going to be costly restructure. Its bankers must be looking over its covenants. Incompetence on a monumental scale. | smithless

13/6/2018 10:33 | Saying this because was trying throughout 0.17-0.2 and could not buy any. Maybe like you say private investors could, but not our level. GLA And what you are saying is wrong. I could have bought at 17p - like I said you need DMA - plenty of brokers offer it to mere mortals like you or I. | nigelpm

13/6/2018 09:46 | Market cap now about 1.5 x EBITDA, assuming Tuffnells remains around breakeven. That's normally a close to going bust rating yet the main business seems to be fine. At the interims we could see these problems. Investors wanted closure of PmP and change of directors. That is what we have got. So why have the shares halved on this news which is as much a reiteration as anything - just a bit more detail? What has got worse? Closing PmP is an improvement. Maybe Tuffnells a bit worse but H2 is still expected to be similar to H1 They have not even said the dividend is being axed. | aleman

13/6/2018 08:47 | MNZS has a market cap of circa 10x CNCT now. Clearly this is a mass however it could be fixed by the right hands. Even if profits drop to 25 million this is worth a lot more than the current valuation. | eastbourne1982
