10/1/2018 11:26 | It looks like we might stay above the 200-day average, even with the ex-dividend. That would be very positive. And the 50-day looks set to cross the 200 soon, anyway. | aleman
09/1/2018 19:34 | Ha, Annoyingly I sold out at lunchtime today. I am shuffling money between accounts at the moment which left me short of cash for new investments and this seemed like one of my boring positions. So I would be happy to see this stuck below 125ish for a while yet. I'm not totally sure though what my investment objectives above that level would be - I suspect this will always struggle to get to a "fair" valuation. | kazoom
09/1/2018 16:35 | The ex-dividend will be a brief interruption to what is developing into a great set of averages. The 50-day is about to cross the 200-day in a few days if recent strength persists. | aleman
09/1/2018 16:12 | Steadily rising into the ex-dividend date which is imminent - on Thursday 11th Jan. Expect an opening share price fall around 6.7p on Thursday, be prepared! | edmundshaw
05/1/2018 16:01 | Above 200-day average. Can it hold? Likely to see a move up if it does. | aleman
05/1/2018 11:01 | Back to £1 next week here guys | linton5
02/1/2018 16:41 | Cheers aleman this is for the super patient looking at 5year chart lol | linton5
02/1/2018 16:34 | It's stuck under the 200-day average which is levelling out. It won't be so boring if it goes through it. | aleman
02/1/2018 15:58 | Must be one of the most boring ftse350 stock | linton5
29/12/2017 20:12 | Opted for the Pass My Parcel service this week for a delivery, picked up today, all went very smoothly in about 36 hours from ordering. | blueliner
28/12/2017 09:10 | Goes XD in 2 weeks time with payment due on February 9th. | masurenguy
25/12/2017 11:56 | Linton5 Agreed. Up and onwards next week as we approach x div date. Happy Xmas all!! R. | retsius
22/12/2017 12:43 | Superb manipulative finish that one lol | linton5
21/12/2017 11:37 | Thanks speedsgh | meijiman
21/12/2017 11:14 | From today's rns re disposal of Books division... "The net cash proceeds of the disposal will be used to reduce the Group's borrowings." NET DEBT 31/8/13 £98.5m 28/2/14 £105.0m 31/8/14 £93.0m 28/2/15 £157.9m 31/8/15 £153.4m 29/2/16 £160.9m 31/8/16 £141.7m 28/2/17 £149.9m 31/8/17 £82.1m | speedsgh
21/12/2017 11:06 | Picked up some more for me Mum's ISA. Should have got up earlier but never mind, 9.28% div in a recovery play not be sniffed at. | runthejoules
21/12/2017 10:55 | @meijiman - 6.70p final dividend goes XD 11/1, paid 9/2 | speedsgh
21/12/2017 09:53 | When does that juicy divi get paid? I came across this on stockopedia and very pleased as would not have been on my radar. Paid mid 90s from memory. | meijiman
21/12/2017 09:19 | Rather swiftly done into the new financial year so that is to be commended though the price is £4 million lower than they expected. Not surprised at that, but at least it is away with a subsequent reduction in debt. Moving with positive momentum( see my previous comment on their Finance Director) Still the juicy div. to come! R. | retsius
21/12/2017 09:09 | A loss on disposal , but it removes the ongoing loss and reduces interest costs. | fenners66
21/12/2017 08:34 | I expect the new owners Aurelius will be pretty ruthless in turning the books business into something more profitable. I guess they might have the desire and time to do that, which must have been a stetch for Connect management... | edmundshaw
21/12/2017 07:22 | Well another £11-12m reduction in debt is useful and price looks sensible on a PER basis - though a loss on net assets shows just what low returns it made. | 18bt
20/12/2017 15:14 | Commedable timing Mguy. A nice 6.7p dividend ex on 11/1/18 will doubtless cure any residual New Year's hangover... | edmundshaw
20/12/2017 10:06 | Looking good so made a small top up at just under 111p this morning. | masurenguy
19/12/2017 16:37 | Mark Cashmore has bed-and-Isa-ed 38k shares today. At the current price he is not going to get a big capital gain, and price recovery plus future (likely substantial) dividends will be protected form tax too. Smart guy. OK he is CEO and this is small beer, but still. Smart. Looking after the details! :-) | edmundshaw |
