22/12/2020 22:51 | "Some of them in the 60s will not be able to find any other job. They will not back down so easily if we dont offer them decent land. This means we have to be prepared to loose some of our current reserves"Why not give them a 'pension' and they can retire!? | goodgrief | |
22/12/2020 21:15 | A couple of positive news:
My main contact is telling me that many artisanal miners are leaving the main pit and cooperative land for other veins outside our current development.
Also good news for Sr Daniel Rojas, they have rediscovered a disused road to take their material away
Drilling continues, apparently the put a camera in the holes.
All good | book5 | |
22/12/2020 18:31 | It'll happen when it happens. Enjoy your Christmas. Gold on the up | oapknob1 | |
22/12/2020 16:52 | In my opinion, the rest of the land is not an issue any more, the real issue here is that we need provide some decent land for hundreds of people that make their living from mining. Some of them in the 60s will not be able to find any other job. They will not back down so easily if we dont offer them decent land. This means we have to be prepared to loose some of our current reserves, and hope that we will discover more.
The infill drilling results may help cnr to make a decision in regards what land to offer.
Possible rns in the short term are:
-update on the core drilling results we have so far.
-a toll mining agreement from La Mestiza.
For safety reasons A toll agreement from the Chorriado may (I don't know) require first that CNR relocates the miners from the cooperative's land.
Imho we are undervalued under any scenario of land we may need to give away for artisanal mining.

22/12/2020 15:32 | We are in a cult of about 23 people. All of us full to the brim with condor. And nobody else cares. Let us hope a big rights issue is not imminent to dig big holes. | diggybee | |
22/12/2020 13:30 | Sorry I have just corrected quit to quiet. I am certainly not quitting at this point as I have no intention of missing out on the multi bagging that will unfold in the near future as we approach production and or a bid. | 888icb | |
22/12/2020 13:20 | Whose offloading? | oapknob1 | |
22/12/2020 12:20 | Quiet again no change on volume of 50000. Come on Mark there is still time to give us a Christmas present! | 888icb | |
21/12/2020 18:27 | Quiet on here today folks? I hope you and your families are all safe. ATB & GLA as always! | connect5 | |
21/12/2020 11:54 | Indeed.
Apparently :
-Sr Daniel Rojas got into trouble for cutting too many trees without having approval for that, condor offered to process his broza (stones with gold)...this would be good for him.
-Chorriado progreessing with infill drilling, we have full possession of the Chorriado.
-Last weekend there was meeting btw condor and cooperative leadership. Imho Condor needs to declare what land will offer to the guiriseros (local term for artisanal miners). Previous request of a particular land, to the west of the main pit, by the cooperative's leader was rejected by cnr.

21/12/2020 11:14 | A safe port in a raging storm as thousands take refuge in the warm condor embrace. | diggybee | |
18/12/2020 16:08 | Good size buys today | book5 | |
18/12/2020 14:45 | Speculation:
- all has been agreed behind doors, they want 240 miners (80% of 300) from well beyond the surrounding villages out the land of Sr Daniel Rojas and give their places to local miners??
-Unlikely this causes a problem since:
-----only around 20% of the miners are from the local area, do they have somewhere else to work???? probably yes.
------ though costly they could open another road, Mr Daniel Rojas certainly has cash for an 8 to 10 km
long new road to another exit point.
-They are closing the road no only to bring the drilling rig, but to extract ore for the toll mining???
I dont know how wide is the road...
We dont know for how long it will remain closed, recently it was closed to repair it.
whatever the reason for this blockage, if for long term, could be very significant.
Taking away around 300 people from their work is not done without lots of work behind the scenes, for a very good reason, and probably with the agreement of Sr Daniel Rojas
Gla, exciting times | book5 | |
18/12/2020 09:22 | Apparently CNR has closed the road given access to the Mestiza (I mean only Cnr can use it), but we don't know for how long it will remain closed.
This is very significant as it cut access to around 300 miners that are working on the land of Sr Daniel Rojas. Majority of these miners, say 80% are not locals, but live very far away.
This road was repaired recently.
Very interesting times ahead | book5 | |
18/12/2020 05:56 | Amazing value here, surely this is a takeover target. | space_dust | |
18/12/2020 00:50 | Looking positive for Friday with some decent buys at 48p at the close ending with the largest trade of the day a 50000 Buy at 48p. Gold is also rising and has touched 1900.
A bid becomes more likely as every step towards production is confirmed. Any bid will be a multiple of the current share price and if you are not holding when a bid comes you will miss that gain. | 888icb | |
17/12/2020 16:15 | 😂 😂 😂 😂 OK, thanks
They are cleaning el Chorriado. Imho this means they expect to do a toll mining deal soon. | book5 | |
17/12/2020 16:13 | I love your faith and optimism 'book5', let's carry my deal with you into January next year and I hope I lose! ;-) | connect5 | |
17/12/2020 15:06 | What the miners say, based on their experience:.
Both at El chorriado and Mestiza we have gold from just below the 1m, no lots of gold, but enough gold to extract it.
Chorriado Vein is around 800mm wide and starts from 2 to 3 m of depth
At the Mestiza vein is almost 2m wide, and from between 5 to 6 m depth.
Gold strong
Keep the faith, we should go up soon. | book5 | |
17/12/2020 15:00 | Blytheweigh have added a new video on YouTube today for CondorhtTps://youtu.be/jFyRZFIbCvA | aleoap | |
17/12/2020 14:35 | 'Diggybee' welcome to the conundrum that is 'CNR', perhaps we're all members of a cult (yes and that's not a typo) totally brainwashed with our own dreams of riches! Just frustration from me at the share price endlessly stagnating regardless of the immense efforts of MC et al. ATB & GLA as always! | connect5 | |
17/12/2020 13:15 | Yet all this seemingly good news...and the eager buyers are overwhelmed by sellers! | diggybee | |
17/12/2020 12:43 | If Rio aren’t put off and let’s face it they are the most likely Company to buy Condor, then other big miners are likely to get comfort from Rio’s due diligence on the country. Yes some people will be put off but it is not a major issue and there are other listed miners in the country already.
Not much trading this morning with volume of just 123000 taking CNR down 1%. | 888icb | |
