Once the market decides the overhang has cleared it is highly likely it will move quickly north.

Bought in here last week, looks like a well timed move with new land purchases and the gold price approaching $1800 oz.

Agree with other comments - Condor does look attractive from a takeover perspective.

Very decent entry point for gold bugs also.

Just recovered back to the opening price on volume of 370000. Gold rising today currently 1785. Let’s hope we can move further away from the placing price and above 40p. Hopefully we will move more quickly at that point when the placing shares have been soaked up.

This is the reason why I expect to see a re-rate, how much longer can Condor languish 3 to 4 fold below peer valuations.

If management cannot get the share price higher many will be happy to take £1.50p, at current levels the share price is a gift.

I think the rumours concerning new land acquisitions are most likely true, the CEO said recently it was only about the price, perhaps they are now up to 90% (from 75%) if a bidder is out there the window is closing.

I heavily recommend all interested readers here to study the last financial report from A to Z (see link below). Mark precisely sets out what we will do. Also I may remind you that we are now talking here alot about La India. Main reason for that is obvious from the table on page 10. Even more obvious what we do next, once La India production is running.

At 1,5 GBP per share we would be below current Calibre Mining valuation... not sure our key investors would jump off at such a bargain price

Expecting a strong re-rate here, materially undervalued to peers with the possibility of being taken over by the Chinese, if the land grab is near complete that makes Condor a very juicy target.

I wonder how much it would take for the likes of Jim Mellon & Co to part with their shares, north of £1.50p I suspect.

All good
Let's see what happens when we own the 95% of the land Mr Child referred to: " 95% of people want to sell".
Hopefuly we dont need to go to court to get the remaing 5%, where we would eventually get it, but with some delays.... Mr Child will tell us.
The Nicaraguan mining law is in our side.
On the other hand, we could get all the land without problems, perhaps in a matter of weeks.
Gla, as Mr Child said, coronavirus is helping with the price!

Recently I named piece of land.
I have been told that this land is an important source of gold for artesanal miners, and was owned by a family that was very opposed to cnr.
So this means:
Deal for land owned by artesanal miners has been successfully executed; I hope that a similar deal would be accepted by the rest of artesanal miner owners.
Also, it is clear that in general villagers don't know the terms of recent significant purchase, this most probably means that a non disclose agreement was signed.
Looking good and as planned.

They also have the borosi District concession in the North Eastern part of Nicaragua which has a similar resource to what we have ish. I think we had similar market caps before they acquired b2 golds mines but can't remember exactly.

I did a bit of research on Calibre and I have really difficulties to understand the low CNR market cap in comparison to Calibre market market cap of 335 M USD and resources of ca 1,9 Moz
Is there any credible explanation (except Calibre already producing) to justify that huge valuation difference? Am I missing something?

Have a look at their latest company pres.
Basically all figures are (much) below CNR except the market cap being 6 times higher ?!

Calibre's mill is under-utilised, so it would be a win-win for them.

MrMcnee, from 'your lips to God's ears' as they say! This has been discussed widely on this and the other BB I post on and I for one would love this to be true and happen. The only fly in the ointment that I can't get rid of is why would Calibre do this, as it would have I would hope a very positive effect on the share price as they could be potential buyers. Anyway what do I know, I've been here for a decade and still deep in the red, maybe it's just that after all these years of false dawns I've grown weary, cynical and fed up! Anyway moan over ladies and gentlemen ATB & GLA as always.

I think the penny is dropping, this is materially undervalued compared to sector peers.

The CEO, in recent interviews, seems to propagate the desire to move towards early toll mining, that would make a great deal of sense and provide immediate cash-flow, it would also deliver a significant re-rate.

Now is a great time to buy, assuming you can get a decent line of stock !!

Volume has been coming down since the 28th of May (announcement share placement) , it seems no many sellers left at these levels
They need to increase the price to attract sellers

It has been hard to buy this morning - they are now asking a premium for just 10,000 shares and an even larger premium above 15,000 shares.

I do not think there is any overhang therefore, recent volume has been low but I have noticed this can change in a flash here.

Am hoping another run to 50p-60p is coming soon.

I agree 8881CB. 15 million will take some time to clear I imagine. Does anyone know of an easy way to count the amount of buys over sells since the placing, or is it basically a case of going back through each day's trades and doing a laborious totting up?

It seems to be the case that at the last placing 15 million shares did not end up in safe hands as we had hoped. The brokers are having to deal with them which is holding the share price around the placing price. Once those shares have been cleared one would expect the share price to move up quite quickly towards previous highs.
