25/2/2020 06:53 | Things brewing..... Good luck all long termers! | win2003
24/2/2020 18:08 | Bomber 13 well spotted and it certainly makes interesting reading. As you say the fact that Rio want to explore in Nicaragua is extremely positive. Rio must not only have decided that there are good opportunities for gold and copper but also that they will get permission to mine it. Further why in the first instance bother to explore when Condor has a ready to go mining opportunity and everyone is certain there is a lot more gold on Condors land than the currently proven reserves. We can also expect a profit of US$1000 per oz at the current gold price. I think Mark should get a meeting set up with Rio ASAP if he hasn’t already. | 888icb
24/2/2020 15:45 | It is particularly interesting to note that Rio Tinto , no less , has done a farm-in deal with Calibre Mining on its Borosi projects in North-East Nicaragua today ( see link below ) in order to explore for bulk tonnage copper/gold porphyry systems . Furthermore , Rio Tinto and Calibre have entered into a strategic alliance to identify and acquire ground with similar potential elsewhere in Nicaragua . Perhaps they should start by talking to Condor ? In December , 2018 , Condor increased its land position around La India by 45% ( see link below ) , which included the Las Cruces concession . This is an area forming part of an old volcanic caldera , and is the likely source of Condor's gold-bearing La India vein systems . Significantly , however , it has copper anomalies at surface , which makes it an exciting bulk tonnage porphyry style target . If indeed Condor is already in talks with Calibre regarding a toll mining deal on its high grade feeder pits at La India , which are awaiting environmental permits any day now , it also seems quite likely that talks might include the Las Cruces concession as well ? There has to be an increasing chance of something finally happening at Condor’s La India project with a gold price near to US$1700 , which promises post cap-ex net margins of US$1000 per oz . Notwithstanding this , the mere fact that a global mining major such as Rio Tinto is entering Nicaragua to explore for big undiscovered copper porphyry systems carries its own hugely positive recommendation . | bomber13
24/2/2020 15:03 | Admittedly on tiny volume but Condor on its Canadian listing is up 44% at .62 CAD which converts to 36p. Let’s hope a lot of Canadians start to get interest as gold stocks command higher valuations in Canada. | 888icb
24/2/2020 13:32 | Finally a small tick up of 2% on still tiny volume of 32000 from 8 trades. | 888icb
24/2/2020 11:54 | There are about 9 gold shares in the top 30 risers with gains of upto 28%. It is disappointing that Condor is not currently joining them. | 888icb
24/2/2020 10:46 | Gold currently 1686. In times gone by CNR would have reacted to movements like this as it increases the value of our gold in the ground quite dramatically. I realise markets are taking a beating today but that’s even more reason to buy gold and gold stocks. It’s disappointing to see just 3 trades this morning but at least they are all buys. | 888icb
22/2/2020 15:04 | I had been watching it slide again and should have pressed the buy button when it bottomed in December, but finally did on Friday for another 15,000 at 23.5. I feel confident that with most of the major permitting hurdles covered; the support being given to the local community; the current pro mining government plus this rosy glow on the gold price, the future looks positive. | coachsailor
22/2/2020 00:05 | Most goldies rising atm, dragging CNR up a tad, but decent, tangible progress in Nic needed to really get the share price moving beyond 20's. | temujiin
22/2/2020 00:00 | Some decent buys in the last 30 minutes including 50000 @ 23.88 for a total volume of 153000. | 888icb
21/2/2020 13:56 | Gold continues to rise quickly currently 1644. If we could see the volume we had on Wednesday it might start to get interesting. But so far only 40000 from 8 trades. | 888icb
21/2/2020 09:45 | Gold continues its rise currently 1633. Condor has followed with a rise of 3.4% from 5 buy trades and a volume of 34000. | 888icb
20/2/2020 22:29 | A quieter day today but gold continues to rise and I see currently 1619. I think I saw the other day Jim Mellon predicting 1700 by the end of March. All good for Condor if they can just start producing. | 888icb
20/2/2020 18:51 | Thankfully not drilling. CNR need to/are focusing on getting gold out of the ground somehow. We have enough gold to be getting on with, finding more can wait until we are profitable and can self fund. | temujiin
20/2/2020 09:04 | Are they drilling currently to prove the 5 mio. oz? | yliano
19/2/2020 16:40 | Good volume of 585000 has moved us UP 7.4% to 22.5p. Are we seeing a change in sentiment or is news coming. It will be interesting to see if the rise continues tomorrow. | 888icb
19/2/2020 16:18 | has it been tipped somewhere. jimlad | jimlad
19/2/2020 16:00 | Now up11% and number 23 on the riser board. | 888icb
19/2/2020 15:44 | Gold also holding above 1600 and is currently 1606. | 888icb
19/2/2020 15:42 | Condor on the rise this afternoon currently UP 8.6% on volume of 383000. Lols to be heading north quite quickly now. | 888icb |
